Chapeter 2: the lake

Im sorry if its bad it's my first story and im trying to make it ok
Peeta pov:
As I'm making supper katniss it comes home.  "Hey, how was it?" I ask. "It was good"she replies. She comes up to me so I kiss her neck. This is her weak spot. She bends her knees slightly . I told you it was her weak spot. Once I'm done supper ,we eat ,and start heading to the lake to watch the sunset. We sit underneath the same willow tree as always. She places her head on my chest while I play with her hair. I sit. I pull out a box from my pocket and get on on knee. Katniss looks shocked. " Katniss I love you more than anything and anyone you are my everything you have saved me mentally and physically more times than I can count and I was wondering if you would marry" I pause " for real this time without the cameras". She put her hands so they cover her mouth. She starts crying . "Yes" she says. I put the ring on her finger. I have never seen her look this happy. It gets dark so we have to go back on the way back she can't stop looking at her ring and smiling herself Katniss. We get back home. "I'm going to have a shower ok" I say. " yeah that's fine" Katniss replies. I'm the shower I feel the soap running down my body and my curly blonde hair. I wash all of it out. I step out of the shower and put my pyjamas on then get ready for bed.

Katniss pov:
I can't believe he really proposed . He makes me feel like the happiest person on earth . I don't think I've loved someone this much ever. I looked down at the rock on my hand. It's sparkles in the tiniest bit of light. This must of cost a fortune. I'm ready for bed. Peeta is still in the bathroom. I don't really know what to do so I just go lay down, but I'm interrupted by the loud ringing of the phone. I pick up the phone. "Hello katniss." I immediately recognized the voice. Finnick. My heart stops for a second. This is impossible he's dead. Finnicks  dead because of me. "Finnick?" I ask "yeah its me umm this might sound a bit crazy but I'm not dead, Annie told me that's what everyone thinks but before you dropped the explosive the mutts dragged me under into a huge vent and the captail got to me and gave me a drug that makes you sleep for like a very long time until someone wakes you up well I was in the training centre still asleep for about three years and I guess they kinda just forgot me there but  one of the nurses was keeping me alive and they finally released me a couple months ago" Finnick tells. Oh my god. This is too much information at once for me to process. So he's not dead? All the sorrow and guilt that I have felt for his death was for nothing because he's still alive. He still alive. "Yeah so I was wondering is you and peeta would want to come to district 4 for a couple days for a vist to catch up" Finnick asks. "Yeah, yeah that would be great" I hang up the phone and rush to knock on the bathroom door. Peeta  answers it. "Peeta I don't know how to say this, but finnick not dead. He wants us to come visit him, Annie and their son Finn for a couple of days."
