Hogwarts.

The next day, the entire wizarding world became aware of the battle that had taken place in the middle of England, even resonating with other international communities outside the country, leaving many quite surprised by the high-level battle. The events in the newspaper had quickly circulated at Hogwarts as well, and everyone was shocked by such a significant event occurring just a few weeks after what had happened in Hogsmeade.

"Did you see what happened? The dark wizards fought against each other and devastated an entire neighborhood next to Diagon Alley," commented a student at the Hufflepuff table with a cautious expression.

"Was it You-Know-Who who did this?" another student asked, worried.

"Nobody knows..." a girl murmured.

"They say the one casting red lightning is a woman well-known among the dark wizards, but the other, no one knows, that's what my uncle said, he works at the ministry. My father sent me a letter this morning about it before the Daily Prophet..." A fourth student spoke.

"Really? And how did they do that? Didn't the Aurors show up?" the girl asked, looking at the newspaper photo.

"They did, but my uncle said they didn't even care about the Aurors... Both continued fighting, surrounded by ministry men. They basically played with them and didn't care, treated them like the wind," the student said, surprising the others.

"But who are they? How can they be so strong?" another Hufflepuff student asked.

"We don't know, they just appeared. But my uncle told my father that the ministry is actually after the one who fought with that woman. The spells they cast devastated the place, but definitely that wizard was casting Unforgivables, wasn't just anyone..." the boy who received the letter exclaimed.

The conversation continued, meanwhile, at the Slytherin table, the conversation continued with more excitement. "Hey, did you know who the woman was who fought against that wizard? Very famous in pure-blood circles, they say she is..." a sixth-year student said while some of the students didn't know, but he was soon interrupted with someone banging on the table, interrupting him just as he was about to reveal,

"Stop immediately! Her name is forbidden, you know that, you idiot! If they catch you saying that name... you and your family could be totally destroyed. You know her father can be as dangerous as the Dark Lord, like him, she has a curse on her name that can be detected if you speak it..." Lucius Malfoy was the one who shouted against that fool, who had to lower his head with that.

"That's true," even Narcissa joined in the conversation. "There are many stories about her father and those are stories no one should get involved in. That creature is a millennial being who lived even in the time of Merlin. So, be careful with what you say," she said, as some shrank back with that and those who wanted to know... gave up the next moment.

"But what about this wizard, who is he? My father said no one knows and they're putting Death Eaters all over England after him." Another fifth-year student spoke.

"My father is leading a group of Death Eaters after him..." Malfoy spoke and continued. "And everyone already suspects that it's that mysterious dark wizard."

As the gossip continued, Snape was sitting nearby, eating and not caring about anything, planning his day and the next months until the end of the year. There were a few months until he finished his fifth year after taking the final exams, so he needed to see how he would make use of this time, since he didn't seem to need to dedicate much to school matters.
