When they arrived at the Association, Khan and Moran were welcomed directly by the Director’s Assistant – Daniel Park – who was told beforehand by Jaeha to ensure the swiftness and the secrecy of the testing, especially with Moran being a Guide with the highest level, with the connection to Sanctuary Guild.
They were ushered into the special testing room for the reassessment that was usually being used by Gifted to re-evaluate their ranks since the machine was more sensitive, and he asked Moran to enter the special chamber that stood in the middle of the room.
“Do I need to get naked?” She asked Daniel Park – who became flustered by her question, and took a minute to answer her after clearing his throat.
“Well…”
“It’s all up to you, luv. Of course I prefer you naked, but I think our Daniel here will definitely faint when he sees you, so you better keep it all under wraps unless you’re with me.” Khan chuckled as he patted Daniel’s back.
“It’s what he said, Ma’am.” He answered after he collected himself.
Damn those 2 people, especially Khan who loved to torture him with this kind of prank.
Too bad he was only an A ranked Gifted, if he was as strong as the brute, he would definitely retaliate. So far, he could only do that in his dreams, and it was only mildly satisfying.
“Sure.” Moran shrugged and she entered the chamber. She was used to this kind of examination back when she was still with Babel, so nudity was not really a problem for her.
Daniel then pressed the button to let the machine do the process, and it didn’t take long for them to see the results.

It took a second for Daniel – and even Khan and Moran – to comprehend the results, when Daniel suddenly shut down the machine and typed some kind of a command into the keyboard, before he turned to face the other 2.
“We need to see the Director now.”
While they were being guided to the topmost level to see the Director, Moran was confused.
She remembered the last time she saw her stats – which was also the first time – and it clearly said Assassin, not All Rounder.
And what even was an All Rounder anyway?
Was this all because she fought with the boys yesterday?
She was fighting them for a long time and even gained an insight from it. Their differences in fighting helped her with her own, especially the close combat skill from Khan.
That man could even use any kind of weapon with ease and could do close combat with Aslan – who turned into a black jaguar just to face him. And it was still his defeat.
It was easy to see why Khan became the Guild Leader.
Because he was the strongest among them all.
And she fought with him for quite some time, which helped her to get used to the new body she had with her power and limitations.
But all in one day?
She was still thinking about how it all happened when she looked up to Khan – who was observing her like a hawk.
That man was no fool, and Moran could not get a clear read of what his thoughts were behind his golden predator eyes.
Thankfully they arrived at the Director’s office and Daniel quickly knocked on the door before he let them in.
“You refused to visit me all the time and now you came with such a beautiful woman?” The loud booming voice filled the entire room as Daniel Park closed the door behind him.
Moran watched as Khan sat on the couch and turned on the TV – blatantly ignoring the Director and the other person who was with him.
“Haish, let him be. He’s still sulking from the last time I forced a Guide upon him. Please sit down. Moran, isn't it?” The Director pointed at the chair in front of his desk – next to the handsome man – and Moran sat down.
She looked at the tall and huge Director’s face that was full of smiles, and she knew that this man was really powerful although he didn’t show it.
“My name is Dominic Dahrk, and this is my son, Dante. He’s the Director of ARK Academy, and Khan’s cousin.”
The man – Dante Dahrk – smiled and took Moran’s hand and then kissed it.
“Enchante, Cheon Moran. I heard that you are awakened with a double EX rank Gift? As a Guide/Healer and an All Rounder? That’s impressive.”
Moran could hear the lilt in his voice and she could easily see him as a siren that would charm every woman’s heart with or without their consent.
“Is it unusual?” She was curious about the double Gift that she received, since she had never known about these kinds of things before.
“Well, usually a Healer could only double as a Guide and vice versa, for example Jennifer Kim. But a Guide/Healer and an All Rounder? Let’s just say that this is the first time we hear about it.”
“Hmm…” Khan surprisingly listened to what Dante said, and he turned his attention to his cousin. “So, what are you saying?”
“Since this is a very rare occurrence, I’d say we keep the All Rounder thing under wraps. Let her be known as an EX ranked Healer/Guide under your Guild. That would keep the wolves at bay, if you catch my drift.”
Khan nodded.
He knew that by informing the world about Moran would only bring harm to her, especially since she had the rare double Gift.
“I agree.” Suddenly Moran spoke. “It will be best if I don’t show all my cards. It will only attract vultures if we do.”
All three men looked at her at once and multiple thoughts occurred inside their mind. Of course Moran caught them since she could read even the most minuscule expression from her opponent. Well, she needed to be able to read them since in her line of work, she had to be wary of everything and everyone.
“Good, we reached an agreement then.” Dominic Dahrk stood up and shook Moran's hand. “I will entrust my nephew in your hand, Moran. Please take care of him.”
