Hello, hello and welcome to the sixth chapter of "Love or Gratitude?"!
I'm not going to spoil what's going to happen but I think the title can already give you a little idea.
On that note, I wish you a very good read!

Little Min-gyu had been sleeping in my arms for a few minutes now while Eun-woo was petting him.
They had asked me to read them a story before the youngest hibernated.
Alice in Wonderland
I also loved this book when I was a kid.
It was the first book I had read in its entirety. With the help of my brother, of course, but I had read it! Jong-in had given me a chocolate as a reward and our parents had almost had a party! Apparently it was also the first book that Nini – my brother, no mockery of the nickname – had read in its entirety at the age of 8, I was 7 if my memory was correct. I hadn't understood much from what I had read, especially because the book was crazier than anything, but I felt very happy that I had succeeded. After that, I had to reread it at least ten times to make sure I understood the story correctly, but it was only a detail. Today I was 26 years old and I was still not sure if I had understood. I was aware of the main message but after the other details, you shouldn't ask me.
"-Thank you Taetae... He needed it... The older brother whispered, looking at me.
"You too, I think..." I murmured in turn.
He smiled at me as he came to rest his little head on my shoulder while his dongsaeng had his on my lap – that's how he had fallen asleep. I stroked Eun-woo's hair as he stroked her little brother's.
I wish I had known what he was thinking...
A few minutes later, someone was heard knocking. My friend left me in bed so as not to wake the youngest and went to open the door.
It was a doctor, Dr. Song if I was not mistaken, who seemed surprised by my presence but who nevertheless greeted me respectfully politely.
"-Has he been asleep long? He asked us in a low voice.
"Just a few minutes, sir... Taetae was reading a story and he fell asleep...
-Ok... However, he will have to be woken up so that he can eat and take his medication. You too should go and eat... He advised us.
"Do we really need to wake him up, Doctor Song?" He's so adorable when he's sleeping..." Sulked the child.
What a cute.
"-It breaks my heart too, but I have to... He'll have plenty of time to sleep afterwards, don't worry... And you, are you okay Kim?
"N-ne, I'm fine...
"Perfect..."
He woke the little one gently and took him in his arms to put him on the bed. He did the tests almost like Dr. Jeon had done with me, but he just measured his heartbeat, his blood pressure with a much gentler and child-friendly device – it could have been used on adults too, right? – and at the end, he checked if his blood sugar injection was in order.
Soon after, we left his room and went to the canteen. The head pediatrician took Min-gyu while I carried Eun-woo after he had insisted enormously.
I had to admit that it wasn't easy to carry him, this child was no longer a little two-year-old baby or a five-year-old boy – a little bit the age at which I had known him. He was now over seven years old and soon eight, which implied that with time, he was getting taller and as his health was impeccable, heavier, in addition I was not the strongest young adult boy who could exist.
