Ashe's POV

I leaned in toward Lux, trying to sneak a peek inside her bag, but before I could see anything, she quickly zipped it shut. Classic Xayah, probably slipped a condom in there to mess with her. Honestly, that girl needs to back off—Lux just got out of the most toxic relationship. I'll have to pull Xayah aside later and tell her to chill.

Lux, still red-faced, hurried off toward the entrance, clutching her bag like it was a lifeline. I glanced over at Y/N, who looked completely baffled by the whole situation. He caught me staring, his eyebrows raised in question.

"What's up?" he asked, a bit uncertain, but his gaze shifted to my hood. "The sun's almost down—you don't need to keep your hood up, you know. Besides, your hair's really pretty."

I smirked, tugging my hood down and letting my snow-white hair catch the fading sunlight. The warm glow bounced off the strands, and I caught a glimpse of Y/N's eyes sparkling in awe.

"It's rude to stare, Y/N," I teased, chuckling softly. "Like what you see?"

His clueless grin widened. "Yeah, your hair's gorgeous. It's like it's made of pure gemstone."

Adorable. I felt a blush creep up my neck, but I shook my head to clear my thoughts. Focus, Ashe.

"Come on, let's get inside," I said, motioning toward the mansion. "Don't want to keep Lux waiting, plus you've got the grand tour ahead of you."

"Lead the way," Y/N replied with a nod, falling in step behind me.

I led him through the main hall, showing off the house. "This is the central area, where we usually hold meetings," I said, gesturing toward the massive open space. "And over there"—I pointed to the TV and the couches—"is where we have game nights. Most of the group is obsessed with Apex, but I guess everyone's out tonight."

As we moved to the kitchen, I noticed Y/N's eyes light up. "I'm guessing you like to cook?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, I usually cook for Riven when we're both home."

"Well, you're in luck. The only other decent cook here is Xayah, and she'd appreciate a break from the kitchen. We'll put you on cooking duty every other day so she doesn't have to do it alone."

Y/N's face brightened even more. "I'll take it—way better than being stuck on cleaning duty."

I laughed. "Well said. With a house this size, cleaning's a nightmare. Consider yourself spared."

We continued the tour, showing Y/N the rest of the facilities. Eventually, we stopped at the final door—Lux's room. I used to room with her before I had to move in with Jinx to keep an eye on her. That girl's a handful.

I tossed Y/N the spare key, watching him fumble to catch it. "You'll be fine on your own here," I said with a smirk. "Get settled in, and if you need anything, just give a shout."

Waving him off, I turned to head back to my room. As I walked away, I couldn't help but shake my head, muttering under my breath. That guy's a natural 20 in seduction without even trying. I felt a blush creeping back up but quickly brushed it off. No time for weird thoughts now.

Y/N's POV

I watched as the white-haired girl, Ashe, walked off. I waved goodbye, smiling to myself. She seemed nice. Hopefully, the rest of the group would be just as welcoming. I slid the key into the door and twisted. As the lock clicked open, I stepped inside, only to hear the sound of running water from the bathroom.

Oh crap. Lux was in the shower. I froze, debating whether to leave quickly or stay put. Before I could decide, the door creaked open.

"Hey, Ashe, did you finish giving the tour—" Lux's voice trailed off as she stepped out, her eyes going wide. "Y/N?"
