Evette had opted for a silver dress for the Yule Ball - her dress was a glittering and shining silver, it had long sheer sleeves, and it was loosely fitted along the stomach and below so her baby bump wasn't exactly visible. Instead of her normal crown - she wore a black diadem that was decorated with diamond. It was made for things like this - when she left her kingdom for celebrations and parties.

Evette was just finishing up in getting dressed when Macaria spoke through her mind. "You have a Fae visitor." Macaria informed her. "I've sent him your way, don't be late! It'll be a bad look."

"Which Fae?" Evette asked her as she moved to pull her black heels on.

"The High Lord of the Night Court."

"Wonderful." Evette sighed before she moved to stand from where she had pulled her shoes on upon her bed. Evette was in the midst of putting some earrings in, when her door was knocked. Evette waved her hand blindly behind her before she put the last earring in. "You know, Rhys, you have such an effort for showing up at some of the worst times." She mused to the man as he entered her room, and she moved to put a pearl necklace on. "Can you make this quick? I can't be late lest I annoy Kaliis." She turned and looked at him.

"I'm unsure if you've been getting any of my letters." Rhys told her as he glanced around her room looking for evidence that she had got them. He spied them on her bedside table, some open and others unopened. Evette had been meaning to get to them.

"It's been a little hectic around here." Evette replied as she stood from where she was sat at her dresser. "I've been meaning to write back." She noticed that his eyes had gone to her stomach, and with her dress and how far along she was...it could be mistaken for just a little weight gain. Without this particular dress, it would be very obvious what it was.

She didn't plan on telling him she was pregnant - it was none of his business.

"So...will you be joining us for Solstice?" Rhys drawled to her as she moved to leave her room, and he fell in step with her. "I asked your brother what plans are here? What it's like. He said you call it Yule, and that none of you have much plans. He says Kaladin has something planned with some woman, and that he planned to spend it with your mother and uncle."

"Kaladin is?" Evette mused to herself as she walked along the corridor. "I'm so going to tease him. But anyways, as I said Rhys, I am very busy. I'm trying to sort things out with Tattoon - and it has been a long and exhausting journey." She glanced at him. "Speaking of...I need to get to the Yule Ball...you're gonna make me on time, which is late for Tattoon terms. Besides, it's a little late notice - it is in two days. And you mentioned in the letters you wish for me to arrive the Eve night, right?"

"You can just show for Solstice." He offered her. "We would all like to see you. Besides, many of us have already planned for your arrival and gotten gifts for you. And I'm sure Allegra would really enjoy to see you - you're her sister and the only family she truly has left."

Evette sighed softly. "I know Mag, Allegra, and Azriel have definitely got you one. And Feyre." Rhys added in.

"And what exactly do I get a warrior, a shadow singer, and a High Lady for Solstice?" Evette questioned the man as they descended the stairs.

"Mag will probably enjoy something Fey, Feyre will be happy with something simple, I'm sure. As for Az...use your intuition." Rhys explained to her, and was glad she had agreed to. He knew Evander told him that Evette wasn't planning to come, and he decided to come and amend that. He knew that her arrival there would be gift enough for her sister and Az - he knew the both of them have been wanting to see her.

"Okay." Evette sighed as they reached the main doors. "Expect my arrival. I may try to make it the Eve night, but if I don't, I'll be there Solstice Morning. Around noon-ish, I suppose." She pushed the doors open and a bitter cold hit them both, making her shiver. "See you then, Rhys." She spoke before she winnowed away, and as soon as her feet hit the floor, she hurried to the open wooden doors of the Tattoon Estate.
