(The Rise Event) Chapter 3: When Gods Clash

Time had passed since The Vanguard and Atlas began working together it was rocky at first but as time went forward they began to work together in harmony along with that the Doom Tower was under their control and was ready for use but they haven't been getting any strange activity from the demons so they decided to lay low but stay on guard but in the meantime everyone began to relax as the boys was relaxing in a bar area of the camp, "Geez we've been managing to make progress now than we were before it's so unreal!" Tegar said as he took a swig of his sake, "That is true I'm just glad we're getting help from Atlas." Snow said as he smiled a bit, "Hey I didn't know Soldier Boy could even smile." Tegar teased as Snow punched him in the face causing the others to laugh, "Man I'm glad we can have moments like this where we're not constantly fighting." Joshua said as he looked at his drink, "Well soon once this is over we'll do this more often you have my word." Jaidyn said having a huge smile on his face, "I swear his smile is contagious." Ren said as he began to smile, "Well you don't smile as often so this is good for you." Jaune joked as everyone began to laugh, "So this is what it felt like years ago when the last war was fought constant worrying, a feeling like the battle is endless and whenever we think things couldn't get worse the demons prove us wrong." Jaune said as he looked at his drink, "Well as scary as it is we keep on fighting hoping for a better tomorrow besides we're not just fighting for this world but for the next generation as well." Oscar said as everyone nodded, "Speaking off Jaidyn we heard you're having twins." Tegar said as Jaidyn smiled, "Yeah I'm pretty excited to meet them what about you Oscar?" Jaidyn asked, "Well me and Ruby are having a daughter while Blake and Yang are having a son." Oscar said, "Good that's good I can't wait what about you guys planning anything?" Jaidyn asked, "Well me and Kura just started dating so there's that." Tegar said, "Me and Pyrrha are planning." Jaune said nervously, "Nora keeps begging me." Ren said as soon everyone turned to Fu, Joshua, and Snow as they said in unison, "We're not seeing anyone." This resulted in everyone laughing.

An hour of peace would pass as The General was planning only for a rumble to be felt, "The hell was that?!" He said as he walked his tent, "What happened?!" He questioned as everyone was just as confused soon the rumbling would be felt again as a radio would pick up a distress signal, "This is the ground squad if anyone could hear us there's some kind of demon it's different for the re-." The channel would cut as Jaidyn, Joshua and Snow would feel something, "Did you feel that?" Jaidyn asked, "Yes but that can't be possible!" Snow said, "A Dominant." Joshua would say with fear in his voice, "A powerful one at that!" Jaidyn would say as the wall would be blown to bits pushing everyone back and the camp being destroyed, "Well well well looks like your wall is gone...again." Said the giant figure in front of them as it began to laugh like a manic Jaidyn gritted his teeth this caught the demon's attention as he looked at Jaidyn, Snow, and Joshua, "Well now the three dominants I always wondered how they fought well with this power I can find out myself!" He said as he grew wings and ascended, "So this demon has the power of a dominant huh?" Snow asked as they looked at him, "And he wants to know their power." Joshua said as the three of them walked forward, "If that's the case." Jaidyn said as a Red X appeared on his face, "Let's Show him!" Jaidyn said as the three of them transformed into their respective titans and began their fight. As their battle began Chaos was keeping the demon on the ground but as they fought Chaos noticed how strong he was the demon punched him into the air jumped up and slammed him back down and as the demon was in the air the dragon and the phoenix flew at him beams at the ready only for the demon to teleport away both titans flying into each other their beams interrupted in the smoke Chaos launched himself up preparing an uppercut only for it to fail as the demon grabbed its fist and throw him aside as it prepared and fired a dark energy ball before Chaos could get hit but it the phoenix grabbed him getting him away from the blast, "Move aside phoenix!" The dragon shouted from above as it fired several beams of light and ice towards the demon they all managed to hit but soon the demon popped out from the smoke getting a hit in on the dragon the battle kept being sided as it continued soon the three resorted to one last ditched effort as they managed to pin the demon down soon they all charged their beam of power and once they were fully charged they all fired at once causing a huge explosion.

As the dust cleared the demon looked unharmed shocking the Titans but what shocked them more was that the demon evolved in front of their eyes as it started sprouting four wings and its body looked more like Chaos before they could grasp the concept the demon moved faster than before and began attacking the three hitting more harder than before as the one sided beat down kept going Chaos began to change into it's ascended form hoping for an advantage as it barely did as Chaos still had trouble, As the dragon recovered he looked at the fight but soon he looked at the cannon and the whale and had an idea as he flew to the demon and successfully grabbed onto him soon pulling him towards the cannon, "What is he doing?!" Chaos asked as everyone saw what it was doing soon the dragon tossed him into the barrel of the cannon and began forcing it to face the whale soon the dragon pinned the demon down against the barrel and began charging a beam, "Snow what are you doing?!" Winter screamed as The dragon was done charging its beam, "I'm sorry Winter, Weiss, Joshua." The dragon said as it began to fire its beam activating the aura in it firing the cannon and destroying the dragon, the demon, and the whale, "I'll see you soon...Mother." Snow said as the beam destroyed him and the demon and successfully took out the whale causing a huge explosion.

As the smoke cleared everyone got out of cover and observed the scene in front of them as ash was falling from the sky, all the demons in the area were gone and the battlefield was clear nothing but weapons and Grimm demons' skulls littered the ground, the doom tower was destroyed along with the wale as the castle that was on top of it was all that remained as it was destroyed but still intact as it rested on the skeletal remains of the whale. Everyone didn't know if they should cheer, scream in fear, or be sad for the sacrifice of snow all but one knew what they were feeling as Winter stumbled forward and fell to her knees tears starting to form as she stared at where Snow was last seen as her tears began to fall she began to scream to the heavens as she began screaming and crying from the lost of her friend/partner and as her cries echoed around the area Chaos and the phoenix Roared and screeched to the heavens at the lost of their friend. Hours had passed as gathered together in front of the collapsed castle, "I still feel her in there and she has the relics." Jaidyn said, "Well what are we waiting for let's go!" Tegar said only for Jaidyn to stop him, "I'm going alone." Jaidyn said as everyone shouted "What" in unison, "Jaidyn don't be stupid we can do this together like last time!" Toya said as Jaidyn just looked at them with a serious look, "You all don't have the strength to face her I do, and besides I can't have someone die or get hurt again." Jaidyn said as Asha stomped towards him and slapped him and then kissed him, "Go." Asha said as everyone including Jaidyn was shocked, "What?" Jaidyn asked as Asha smiled at him, "You're right we don't have the strength but not only that you're not alone you have our light inside you so you're not fighting alone." Asha said as Jaidyn looked at everyone as they gave him encouraging smiles, "You got this." Said Toya, "Gave her one for me man!" said Tegar, "You made it this far brother don't back down now." said Joshua, "Show her the true power of not just the light but balance." Said The General along with everyone else, "Don't forget our promise ok?" Asha asked as she held Jaidyn close, "You know me Asha I will." Jaidyn said as he let her go soon he called his bike once it drove to his side he mounted it and took one more look towards everyone as everyone smiled at him he smiled back and drove off into the ruins of the castle, "This time...this ends now."
