keilan got out of keevin's truck and shut it, he looked at the school he was going to now, everyone chatting and walked inside the building.
he seen the buses lined up and sighed, he looked at the truck before walking out the school parking lot and onto the sidewalk.
"yoo, you and destiny, huh?" keilan heard and he turned his head to see two boys who had a bag in their hand.
keilan looked away and walked inside the school building, he ignored the stares he was getting and kept looking for the office.
he knew they were whispering about him, acting like they never seen a new face before. keilan stopped walking for a minute and pulled out the school map that he was given.
he felt a tap and turned around, "hey, sorry. are you keilan?" the female asked, she was lightskin and she had her hair in black braids, she had glasses on but you could tell they were fake.
"yeah, you?" the female smiled and examined keilan before answering him.
"i'm shayla, are you looking for the office?" shayla asked him and keilan nodded his head.
"i'll take you" shayla looked him up and down and started walking, keilan shook it off and followed her, when they stopped at a door she turned to him.
"do you want me to wait on you?" shayla questioned and keilan started to feel weird.
"no, i'm good." keilan stated, he just got a weird feeling about her that he couldn't shake, "thanks though." keilan added so it didn't seem rude and he walked in the office.
keilan looked at the male who sat down in the chair, he had his legs crossed and he looked upset, he noticed keilan and his face warmed up.
"how can i help you?" the male leaned up and put his arms on the desk, keilan sat down in one of the chairs infront of the desk.
"uhh, i need my schedule, i'm new here." keilan stated and the male hummed and nodded his head.
"keilan anderson? how do i know? you are the only student who didn't come get the schedule last week." the principal winked and keilan nodded awkwardly.
"i didn't know." keilan mumbled and the principal handed him a paper.
"hope to see you around." the principal stated and they both stood up at the same time.
