It was finally Christmas, Bonnie's favorite holiday. The Mikaelson mansion was a whirlwind of holiday cheer, bustling like a scene from a Christmas movie. The mansion was decked out from top to bottom, twinkling lights wrapped around banisters, garlands draped over doorways, and an enormous tree standing proudly in the grand hall, adorned with glimmering ornaments. The house staff scurried about, preparing for the grand meal, while hybrids handled security, ensuring the evening would go without interruption.
Bonnie, in true Bennett fashion, was overseeing every last detail, her voice rising over the festive tune of Last Christmas playing in the background. She moved through the rooms, giving orders, rearranging decorations, and making sure everything was perfect for her favorite holiday. And trust me, you don't want to see a pregnant witch cry during her favorite holiday!"
Braydon chuckled, carefully setting the gifts down beneath the tree. Bonnie turned to find Klaus watching her with a smirk, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
"What?" she asked, pretending to be annoyed.
"Nothing, love," Klaus replied, his smirk widening. "Just... enjoying the thrill of your excitement."
She narrowed her eyes playfully. "Well, it won't be so entertaining if anything goes wrong!" Her gaze dropped to his outfit, which looked remarkably casual. "Why haven't you put on your dinner outfit yet?"
Klaus raised his eyebrows, clearly feigning innocence. "This is my outfit."
Bonnie folded her arms, giving him a look that needed no translation. Klaus burst into laughter, finally standing and heading to change into something more fitting for the occasion. Bonnie grinned in satisfaction, then continued her rounds, hand resting on her belly as she sang along with George Michael, "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart..."
