It's been days since you've had a good night's sleep. The ongoing project, research analysis, and job hunting are all taking a toll on your body, leaving you little time for rest. You are a science student currently interning at RR Pharmaceuticals & Research Centre, a small startup founded by alumni from your university's department.

You secured the internship with ease, but now that your one-year contract is nearing its end, you need to find a full-time job with a reputable company. Your grades are decent, which should qualify you for a good position in any organization. However, you're considering working on a project to enhance your chances of being selected by a larger company that would likely offer a higher salary.

You need to come up with a solid project idea to publish your work. Right now, you are walking to your company since it's nearly eight in the morning. Your shift starts at eight-thirty, so you plan to grab a hot chocolate before arriving. The weather is colder today than usual.

You enter the café and order a hot chocolate with extra cream. While waiting for your order, you sit down and scroll through your phone. The café is busier than usual; it seems everyone is taking advantage of the cozy weather to enjoy a drink.

When your name is called, you pick up your order from the barista and exit the café, sipping your hot chocolate. You are almost finished with your project work; it just needs a few more points. You're thinking about visiting the library after your shift ends to complete it.

You reach your lab, and the security guard wishes you a good morning, to which you reply with a smile. You enter the elevator and press the button for your floor. When the elevator door opens, you step out and see your coworker, Josh, pressing his thumb on the biometric scanner to enter the lab. Your lab is situated on the fourth floor of the building and has a high-security system.

"Hey, Josh!" you call out. He looks back at you and smiles.

"Hey, Yn!" He gives you a fist bump.

"Didn't you sleep? You look like a sloth," he says, sounding concerned.

You place your thumb on the biometric scanner and enter the lab with Josh. You sigh and reply, "I had to complete the project. My one-year contract is about to end."

"Ah, right. Do you have any idea which companies you're going to apply to?" he asks as you both walk down the aisle, where others smile at you.

"Not yet. I'm still thinking. You could give me some ideas since you're my senior." Yes, he is a senior scientist and a PhD graduate from Harvard-an attractive guy, indeed.

He thinks for a moment and then responds, "I have a few options in mind. You can apply to those companies; they're highly reputed. If your project is good, you could secure a good placement there. I'll let you know about those companies at lunch hour. I have a meeting with the HR in fifteen minutes, so I'll see you for lunch." He says this and walks to his cabin.
