[Night time]
Eon wiped his hair with a towel as he exited the bathroom, he was still a bit surprised that there was a fully functional bathroom, one similar to the ones he's used to from the 21st century.
He wondered if this was the work of the Hero King or if it was the other otherworlder. Either way, he appreciated it.
Although it was a bit weird as he couldn't tell whether or not having a bathroom made this isekai better or a bit too modern for his liking, well regardless of what he thinks he can't change or do anything about it, but he did wonder if the modern bathrooms were related to the fact no one seemed to bat an eye at his clearly out of place clothes.
“You have a scar now”
Reniris commented as she watched him exit the bathroom, she was lying on her bed with her stomach, using her arms to support her head seeing that Eon now had a thin scar that stretched horizontally from one side of his abdomen to the other made her vocalise her observation.
“All that tells me is that you were staring at my chiselled form”
He jokingly said as he flexed his stomach, making his abs even more pronounced and struck a pose. He wasn't the most muscular person. However, he did have visible lean muscles, giving him a swimmers build.
Reniris’s cheeks showed a slight blush, but she quickly dismissed it and decided not to acknowledge his words.
“Even though you healed pretty quickly, it was still slow compared to me, and it left a scar, meaning if someone were to cut your hand off, it most likely wouldn't grow back.”
She said, while she changed her position and sat up straight, and she looked at him in the eyes, Eon simply shrugged his shoulders before responding.
“That's just how battles work, Reny. You can't be worried each time I get a scar”
“OK, that is true, but you were reckless. You didn’t consider the type of weapon he was carrying, and you fought him bare handed”
Eon raised a brow as he heard her words, he definitely appreciated the worry but why is she acting like she wasn't reckless in her fight against Alexander after all she literally allowed for him to slam a barrel on her face just because she wanted to apologise.
“Says the person who wanted to apologise to the guy that wanted to kill her”
He mentioned, and she frowned slightly before responding.
“That's because I was in the wrong a–”
“Don't sweat it, Ren, it's fine. It's like you said, trust me to handle this the best way I possibly can, right?”
He threw her words back at her as he let himself fall on his bed on his stomach, he wasn't particularly in any mood to talk about his fight, plus he didn't think he did anything particularly wrong during said fight, although he didn't get to enjoy it as much as he wanted.
“Fine but…”
She paused, hesitating on whether or not to ask or even bring it up.
“But what?”
“Are you okay?”
She asked, choosing to ask the simple question rather than talk about what made her worry. She stared at him and made him feel a bit weird.
“Yeah I am, I'm feeling quite refreshed actually”
He responded as he turned and laid on his back and looked at the ceiling.
