*Nishtha's POV*:-
Things are going better than ever, Ranvijay and I have started accepting each other as husband and wife, well we can skip my previous evening appointment with Maa.
Though the appointment didn't go well for me but I unravelled another of Ranvijay's layers- the mature elder son.
He has been responsible ? Yes, always.
But this mature side of his touched me, the way he took the brunt of Maa-Baba's broken relation but didn't let that dark side be seen by Rudra and Ridha is comendable.
But what I feel the most is the pain of his heart. I have seen cases where kids suffer because their parents have conplicated relationships.
Growing up, parents are supposed to be the ideal relationship displayers for a child. A harmonious family is important for their mental well being.
No doubt the Rajput family would have been harmonious but the enstranged truth about this relationship between Maa and Baba would surely have desolated Ranvijay's feelings towards marriage and relationships.
And still he smiles, so purely that no one could even guess the secrets he could be hiding inside his heart, just for the betterment of others. I guess that is what made him such a successful business man...
and lead him to stay away from you for six years ?
. . .
Yes, I guess. My heart would bleed at the thoughts of the past. And if insecurity was the reason behind Ranvijay's running away, then I feel he still hasn't trusted me conpletely.
That means more wait in is on line. But I am ready to wait years if he stays by my side.
Would he ?
"Yes, he would.," my heart boasted as I my eyes travelled to him.
Our eyes met as he looked at me again while singing the lyrics in chorus with Meera and Vardhaan.
He beamed towards me and raised his brows in question as he noticed me being lost in my thoughts.
I gently shook my head and eyed him to concentrate on driving the car. Shaking his head with a gently chuckle he looked back at the road allowing me to check him out again.
Right now we were on our way to Bhavanipur, I slept the whole flight while Ranvijay did his work and massaged my feet.
My boxing session yesterday got a stretched by another hour after Ranvijay's arrival, we fought wildly but still cautious as to not hurt each other.
"Bhaiya aur kitni der ?," (Bhaiya, how much time more ?) yawned Meera putting her head on Vardhaan's shoulder.
"Here we have reached, just two more minutes.," Ranvijay announced as he turned the car inside a huge gate.
Bhavanipur Temple-2 kms away, the sign by the side of the road read.
Bhavanipur was 5 hours away from Jodhpur main city and we had almost finished the scenic route. I had driven the car for 3 hours and after a breakfast break, Ranvijay took over the driving.
The two kilometers passed like a film, the hues of brown and light green covering the desert parches for Bhavanipur and a majestic gate greeting us at the entrance.
I looked at the majestic temple in front of us. It carried the heritage of my in-laws. Every couple was mandated to come here after their marriage and after having kids to seek the blessings of the Goddess for the safety, security and the well being of the family.
We got out in a huge lawn and waited there until the pandit ji arrived.
"Namaste, hume Gayatri devi ji ne bataya tha aap log aane waale hain. Yeh rahe aapke kamro ki chaabiyan. Aur kuch chahiye toh baityega.," (Namaste, Gayatri devi ji had informed us about you arrival. These are the keys to your rooms if you need anything you can tell me.) the pandit ji said and guided us to the dharamshala beside the temple.
"Hello !," we turned around at the voice and saw Ekansh bhai and Meera waiting for us already.
They had come here directly from Jaipur and had arrived yesterday night.
While Vardhaan and Ranvijay took their time to greet Ekansh bhai, Meera and I caught up with Ekta who was coddled in Ekansh bhai's jacket, shivering in cold. It was 15°C at 8 am in morning.
"Did you bring the room keys ?," Vardhaan asked as he noticed Meera yawn again, the journey had been especially tiring for her since she had been spending nights awake, checking answer papers of the kids.
"There we have three rooms. Each for a couple.," Ekansh said and passed us our keys.
"We have to stay in a dharamshala here, this is a heritage temple for our lineage ," Ranvijay explained as he held the bags before I would even touch them.
As Ranvijay lead the way to the dharamshala, I took my time to look around. The pillars were carved with figures of dancers, gods and goddesses, the offwhite colour of the marble gave it a look of subtleness as well as opulence.
"It's beautiful right ?," I turned startled and saw Ranvijay looking at me with an adoring smile.
When did I walk ahead of him ?
"When you were busy admiring these carving.," his brows raised to tease me with a sly grin on his face.
This is what makes me blush, his actions and his timings. "It is.," I couldn't help but agree.
We walked through the beautiful airy corridors before entering our room on the first floor.
It was nice, with a small, cozy balcony. There was a four legged charpoy in the center with curtains railed up. Just one pull of the thread and the net would fall around, so royal.
"Let's sleep for sometime before we get ready for the pooja.," I nodded at the intruction half hearing it cause all my attention was captured by the view from the balcony.
It wasn't something like the lush greens of the Western Ghats, this was rather flat and barren with wild shrubs and khejadi trees growing around.
The air was dry and cold, and every gush of wind would bring in a sense of devotion and peace. This place is magical for sure.
