Katie's pov
Its my birthday today,iv been awake since 5am and its now 8:30am i don't know how to feel half of me is happy the other half wants to curl up in a ball and cry,all the fans have been tweeting me birthday messages and i feel like crying reading most of the things their saying,i looked over and seen dinah was still asleep i suppose i should be happy im not stuck in a orphanage somewhere or with some weird family member iv never met,as i lay their thinking i got a text of ally
A: hey babe are you awake? If you are do you wanna come waffle house with me 😊💖
Me: hey lol yeah am awake n sure ill come are mani and amy coming ? 😊
A: nope its just us two my treat 😘💖
Me: lol ok ill just get changed won't be long 😁
Ally's pov
" plans in action guys she's said yes to the waffle house" i said smiling at mani,amy,lauren and camila, " cool so we'll text you when were finished and all set up" lauren said smiling i looked at my phone and seen a message of dinah : hey am pretending to be asleep katie's been awake since about 5ish this morning 😕 she's nearly ready now so text her and tell her were to meet her or whatever 😘
Me: will you come and help lo and everyone once we've gone 😚
Dj: Ooooohhh ok then seems as you asked ill help 😉☺️lol
Just then i got a message off katie
Katie: hey ally am ready were are we meeting 😊
Me: yeayyy stay their ill come and get you babe ☺️
As i reached dinah and katie's room she opened the door,and i could tell straight away she was trying not to break down, "come on babe lets go and get some food" i said smiling and taking her hand, as we reached the waffle house katie sat down and looked at the menu i could see her shaking, i took hold of her hands"baby hey come on whats wrong" i asked pulling her towards me,"its just weird being here when this time last week i was in hospital" katie said looking at me,"katie you've done so well though and i know things have been crazy with rehearsals and everything else,but you've been amazing" i said kissing her head katie looked up at me smiling "now come on and lets order before the others start ringing us" i said smiling.
Lauren's pov
As we finished getting the room ready, i got a text of ally saying they were finished and should they come back yet, "guys are we all ready ally and katie have finished eating and ready to come back" i asked looking at everyone, "yeah lolo i think everything's ready now" camila said smiling, i quickly text ally back saying it was fine to come back i looked over at amy who was sat with mani "you've come out you're shy shell this morning babe" i said smiling at her amy smiled back at me "keep it up its been nice to hear you're normal voice" i said smiling at her,just then i heard someone knock on the door i ran to open it and seen ally smiling at me, katie was behind her "hey guys come on in" i said smiling,as katie walked in i seen the shock on her face"are you ok babe" i asked holding katie in place,i could feel her panicking "babe please talk to us whats wrong"lo she had a bit of a wobble while we were out as well " ally said looking at me, i looked at katie and pulled her to mine and camila's room as i opened the door i heard katie sob "come here babe " i said pulling her onto the bed and cuddling into her,i heard the door open and seen normani walk towards the bed.
Normani's pov
As i walked into lauren's room and seen how upset katie was, i knew she'd had Hugeee memory hit her which was understandable seems as its her birthday,"oh shoot mani i forgot about something can you stay with katie for a bit" lauren said sitting up "sure come here boo" i said lying down and hugging katie,as lauren left the room i turned and looked at katie "whats happened babe " katie was playing with her fingers,i gently lifted her chin up so she was looking at me "its hard mani " katie said welling up,i pulled her close "whats hard babe" i asked stroking her cheek "not having my mum" katie said sobbing into my chest, after a while katie calmed down and i heard camila and dinah walk into the room then ally nicole and lauren walked in," guys she's cried herself to sleep" i said still holding katie," what if some of ur mums come out for the tour for a bit, then katie will have a mum figure with her while you're on stage" amy said looking at ally,we all smiled "babe thats a great idea" camila said smiling.
Camila's pov
As katie was asleep on mine lauren's bed, dinah refused to leave the room"she won't wake up now she's fast asleep"i said looking at dinah"ugh i know but will you ring me when she wakes up" dinah said looking at me i nodded as dinah walked out the room,as i turned back towards the room i seen katie about to wake up i quickly walked over to the bed and sat down "hey their sleepy head" i said smiling at katie,just then i heard lauren,ally,mani,dinah and amy walk back into the room katie went to try and sit up "babe lie down and relax ok "dinah said lying down with katie and stroking her cheek,"you know we all love you right babe" mani said smiling at katie who just nodded "i ijust miss her" katie said throwing herself at dinah.
Dinah's pov
As katie threw herself at me,i quickly picked her up and got her wrapped around me,i done the only thing i could think of doing to calm her down i wrapped my arms round her and rocked her from side to side after a while i felt katie relax and calm down "lauren go and get her presents let her open them here" i said still holding katie,once lauren came into the room with the presents katie sat and slowly opened every one normani stopped her before she got to her present "listen babe i have a question would you come with me for the day and help me on a video shoot" mani asked smiling at katie,i seen katie smile "yes mani ill help you" katie said smiling.
