Soon enough, Kosuke left the tatami room. Giselle followed him, quietly.

"All right, Kaito-san, you called it. Kosuke-kun just blew all his earnings on cho-han"

Kaito laughed victoriously. Happy as can be.

"Told ya. So what do you say we do? 'Cause I say we cut to the chase and have us a little one-on-one"

A little chuckle got out of Giselle.

"My thoughts exactly"

"Good, I'll bring the car around. College boy's about to learn something they don't teach in class"

Giselle continued to follow Kosuke until Kaito finds where she is, the rest will be left in Yagami's hands.

"Hey man, hold up a sec!"

Giselle yelled and ran up from behind of Kosuke.

"I think you dropped something"

"Huh?"

Kosuke turned around, patting down his pockets.

"I've got my phone on me. What'd I lose?"

"Well, it could be any number of things, to tell you the truth"

Yagami said as he turned the corner. Kosuke sneered. Giselle smirked and shrugged.

"You have it handled from here, I'm gonna go meet up with Kaito-san"

Giselle said and walked away. Yagami approached him.

"Maybe your conscience, or even your integrity. Do you feel like you might've left those somewhere?"

Kosuke furrowed his brows. Yagami grinned.

"Huh? What's your freakin' problem?"

"Does scamming a young lady ring any bells for you? You've been working with a crooked bar to make her foot a 1.2 million yen bill"

"What in the hell are you even talkin' about, dude?"

"Have you conned so many girls you can't even keep the scams straight anymore?"

"You better back off me. I've got the full support of the Tojo Clan on this thing, man. Still think it's wise to talk shit?"

"The Tojo Clan? You mean the yakuza?"

Kosuke slammed his fist into his hand and smirked.

"Heh. Pissing yourself yet? You're about to be real sorry, asshole!"

Kosuke went to swing at Yagami who grabbed his wrist and looked at him.

"The Tojo Clan thugs got disbanded ages ago. If namedropping a long-dead gang was supposed to scare me, I'm not very impressed"

Kosuke pulled away from Yagami's strong grip.

"Sonuva- Let's fuckin' go!"

Yagami shook his head and crossed his arms.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. That excuse for a punch told me all I need to know"

"Fuck you, man! That last one was just a warning shot! No more chances- The gloves are coming off right now, bro, and you're gonna get fucked up!"

Yagami saw how worked up Kosuke had gotten himself. It was ridiculous, really.

"I hear you, kid. So. I can take the gloves off too, right?"

Yagami got into stance and eyed the boy who was so full of himself.

"The fuck? Are you for real right now? Well, I pump iron at the gym once a week, my man. You're going down!"

Yagami smirked and motioned with his fingers for Kosuke to come at him. Without mercy, Yagami beat the day lights out of Kosuke until he was knocked on his ass.

"Ugh..."

Kosuke wheezed and coughed. Yagami crossed his arms.

"H-Hey, Yoshiro-san! Over here! Please, you gotta help me!"

Yagami turned around to see a group of thugs, presumably from the tatami room.

"Kosuke, what happened? This guy givin' you trouble?"

"Yeah"

Kosuke pointed at Yagami.

"He just started wailing on me all of a sudden!"

"He did? Well what's your problem? This gentleman you're harassing is my client!"

Yagami scoffed and he looked back at the group.

"Client? That a tatami room term for "gambling addict"?"

He asked and crossed his arms.

"Gambling addict... Who told you about the tatami room? People only get in through me, and I sure as hell don't know you"

"Look, I don't have time to play around right now"

Yagami said as he let out a sigh.

"Too late, asshole... You just signed up for a beating!"

Yagami got into his fighting stances and whooped the shit out of the street punks who decided to come at him and his business.

Yagami turned his head to looked at Kosuke who was quivering. He took a step towards him.

"Ugh... This wasn't supposed to happen!"

"Now you're really asking for it!"

Yagami yelled and ran after Kosuke who started running away. He was going to catch him, for his client. He knew Kosuke wouldn't last long, running from him. Hurdling over objects, avoiding hitting people, running on the walls. He eventually pushed himself off of a wall and tackled Kosuke.

Yagami stood up and brushed himself off, looking at Kosuke.

"Come on, Kosuke-kun. Are you done?"

He asked and took a few steps closer to the boy on the ground. Giselle, Kaito, and Keiko walked up behind Yagami. Kaito chuckled.

"You can't help yourself, can you, Tak? For bein' a lawyer, you sure like to settle things with your fists. Same with you Aeri"

Yagami looked over his shoulder at the three before looking back at Kosuke.

"A lawyer...? How the fuck are you two lawyers!?"

Yagami and Giselle walked over to Keiko and held up their lawyers badges.

"Yagami-san, Giselle-chan, you're not really detectives?"

Keiko asked softly and Yagami put the badge into his pocket. Same with Giselle. Yagami turned to look at Keiko.

"We're detectives all right. As for the badge... We still have a license to practice, so we hold onto it"

Keiko nodded.

"Is it safe to assume, then, you two used to work at Genda Law?"

"Yep. Hit the nail on the head, actually. These days, he hands off the gigs that are better suited for detectives. Like him"

Yagami said and pointed at Kosuke.

"Now it's making a little more sense"

"Did you catch all that, Kosuke-kun?"

Gisele said and turned to look at Kosuke.

"Huh!?"

Giselle walked over to Kosuke and crouched down in front of him, showing him her badge.

"Well, if you want a closer look, I'll be more than happy to accommodate you"

"Wha?"

Kaito walked up behind Giselle.

"Yeah, care to go for a ride?"

He chuckled and crouched down beside Giselle.

"We're gonna be buds, Kosuke"
