Waking up at 6am doesn't bring me joy neither should it bring any joy being up early, yet I don't want to miss breakfast so I force myself to get up and head to the Great Hall.
Oh, did I tell you that I go to a boarding school but it is not your ordinary boarding school. It's called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It's a school designed purely for witches and wizards. The build of the castle is so intricate which a muggle could never appreciate its beauty and understand its structure purely because it's supported by magic.
Although I go to a magic school you would think it would be very fun full of excitement and joy but when in reality each day just repeats itself feels as if it's a massive loop and nothing ever changes or happens.
I slowly walk through the hallways of Hogwarts towards the Great Hall. As i enter I noticed it is pretty empty so I walk over to the Slytherin table and sit on the end seat away from the few class mates who were eating breakfast. I'm very unlucky as my very few friends aren't in the same house as me. I don't belong in Slytherin, I have no idea why the sorting hat put me in it.
Just as I'm finishing my breakfast, I hear footsteps coming from behind me, I look to the side of me to see the one and only Draco Malfoy. He's one of the most annoying classmates ever, him and his little group. Sure he's rich and is a pureblood but it doesn't make him any better than the rest of us. I look over to him as he sits down, you can see his platinum blonde hair from a mile away. His eyes are a piercing grey-blue colour which are almost blinding. His head snaps turning towards me, which leads to us making awkward eye contact. I quickly turn away as I feel my face heat up, I eat my last slice of toast in a hurry and quickly get up to head back to my dorm.
I turn back as I leave and notice Draco watching me as I walk back into the hallway.
Once I reach back to my dorm, I quickly walk up to my wardrobe and grab my robes ready for the day. I head into the bathroom and have a quick shower making sure I look and feel ready and presentable for the day.
I do wish life at Hogwarts was more fun though, I wish I had a large friendship group and someone to call my own. There's a fair few hot guys about but i've never felt confident enough to talk or even flirt with them.
I decide to do my makeup today, to try and myself seem a little bit less dead looking. I apply some concealer, bronzer, blusher and a bit of mascara. Just to help boost my confidence a bit, i'm sick and tired of not trying hard enough here.
