The smile that threatened to split her face only grew. Tears spilling from her eyes and down her cheeks as she stared at her father. Her head dropping allowing her tears still spill on the floor below her. That however was stopped once her father's frail arms wrapped themselves around her body. She responded instantly her hands grasping at his shirt. "Thank you, thank you..." She thanked Toshinori repeatedly.

In her hands was going to be the most powerful quirk in existence. The only thing that made this better was Toshinori's next words, his hand gently patting her head. "You deserve it Izumi. You are a hero."

Letting go of Toshinori's shirt Izumi tried desperately to wipe the tears on her face. "I'll accept your quirk!" Her clenched fists pumped into the air. Toshinori seeing his daughter's cute displayed laughed loudly.

"That's my girl, I knew you would respond that way. There is some stuff we have to do." Grabbing Izumi's arm the man examined it. "We've been doing regular strength training for your quirk already, but before you can accept OFA we are gonna have to increase the intensity. Are you sure you can handle it?"

"I can!" Joy spread all throughout her body as Toshinori nodded.

"Training will get started tomorrow, but first lets get home and give your mother a diet program. She's gonna have her work cut out for her that's for sure." Leading Izumi the pair walked home, all the while Izumi rambled on and on asking a multitude of questions that Toshinori answered. It continued as the sun fell even further and when their home came into view. Pushing past the black iron rod gate and through the front door of the home, the pair were ambushed by a hug.

Inko having got off her shift just an hour ago, the woman eagerly awaited her daughter and husband. The joy on her face quickly overrode with anger as a wooden spoon floated from the kitchen and into her right hand. "I'm so glad you're safe Izumi... but WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!" The wooden spoon connected with the top of Izumi's head knocking the girl down to her knees as she covered her head. "And you Toshinori Yagi! That was a villain you were chasing wasn't it?!" Her spoon hit her other target. Forcing the father daughter duo to kneel, Inko loomed over them. Hands on her hips.

"B-But Mom! T-they had Kacchan, I... had to do... something..." Her voice got lower refusing to look at Inko's piercing emerald eyes. Eventually the woman's expression collapsed with a sigh.

"Geez that boy... why is that when you're with him you always seem to end up in some sort of trouble." Inko's left hand pressing against her face, "Knowing Mitsuki, Katsuki already got enough punishment. Hah... it never ends with you kids I swear." Inko's frustration stemmed from elsewhere her head shaking.

"What happened?" Toshinori standing looked throughout the living room trying to spot his son.

"I got a call from Rei, apparently Izuku got into a fight with Shoto and broke his nose. That child." Inko shook her head, she didn't know what happened to him. When he was young Izuku was always a bright and well-behaved child. After the quirk appointment, it was like a switch had flipped. Always making Izumi cry, failing his classes, causing problems all throughout the house. At least Izumi was always honest with her. "When he gets home..." Inko's grip tightened on the spoon.

"Haha... eh... well we can just wait down here." Tiptoeing around the angry woman Toshinori looked towards the kitchen. "I have some news to share Inko."

"What is it?"

Toshinori smiled glancing at Izumi. "I've decided that Izumi will inherit my quirk." The bombshell dropped and Inko's eyes lit up. Despite what her slim body would suggested the woman hefted Izumi off the ground grabbing her into a tight hug as she shed a few tears.
