The sun was rising; it was probably around 5 or 6 in the morning. The rising sun was blending her awaking Raven. While Raven was stirring awake, her body felt numb and exhausted. The pain that was going to come hasn't sattled in, giving her the maximum of 5-10 minutes before everything came crashing down.
She was also feeling quite uncertain; upon the revelation, 'I didn't die,' she was certain she wouldn't survive yesterday's or today's beatings, as she didn't know how long he played with her, but she didn't know if she liked or disliked that fact.
Looking around with hazy eyes and shaking breaths, 'What a fucking shitshow; there's no mercy for the hated one.'
The living room was poor chaos. Everywhere were empty and broken bottles. Her blood was also scarred everywhere, from the walls to the floors; nothing was left untainted, not even the furniture. The remnants of yesterday's violence lingered heavy in the air, combined with the stench of alcohol, creating the perfect, erry atmosphere to go with the situation.
Looking a little further, there was the man of the hour snoring loudly and hugging his whip like it was a fucking teddy bear and
not a deadly weapon.'Well, at least something—him deeply sleeping—is going to give me enough time, as I guess it's not just my body that I have to clean up. That's just my fucking luck.'
Her rational part was back. This included her strong willed attitude; she had calmed down; she knew she had no time to sit here without moving; she had to get away to fully analyze the situation and decide what to do further, so the same ordeal as always: clean up, endure, and prepare.
Disregarding the sudden pain that was slowly but surely taking over her body and consuming her brain, she pulled up her body, supporting herself on the bloody wall.
In daze and immense pain, that was only the beginning if she wasn't fast enough and the full extent of her injuries hit her. She started making her way to her room with the little energy she regained to do the possible damage control.
