After their bubble tea break, Aina pulled Yasmin toward a quieter corner of the mall, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

“Min, jom buat TikTok! Aku baru ada idea, mesti jadi viral,” Aina said, already pulling out her phone.

“TikTok? Aku tak pandai lah,” Yasmin hesitated, glancing around.

“Alah, senang je! Tak payah jadi dancer. Just follow my lead, okay?” Aina said with a wink.

Yasmin looked around nervously. “Takkan nak buat kat sini?”

Aina gave her a sly grin. “Kenapa? Takde orang peduli pun. Lagipun, you look cute, Min. Just trust me.”

Before Yasmin could protest, Aina was already pressing play, her phone camera pointed at them. “Alright, ready? Just be yourself. We’ll do something funny—kau buat muka pelik je, aku handle the rest.”

Yasmin blinked, then pulled a goofy face, unsure of what to expect. But Aina was already acting like a pro, striking poses and flipping her hair as if she were on a runway. Yasmin couldn’t help but laugh, and the moment felt a little less awkward.

“Okay, now, do this,” Aina said, and before Yasmin could react, she had both hands up, mimicking a ridiculous dance move. Yasmin followed, laughing at how silly it felt.

“Perfect!” Aina cheered. “Upload je, tengok nanti berapa orang suka.”

Yasmin glanced at the screen, her eyes wide. “Kau serious? Dah siap ke?”

“Done! It’s going viral. Aku rasa,” Aina said confidently, then swiped through the app.

Yasmin laughed again, shaking her head. “Kau memang gila, Aina.”

“Gila tapi stylish. Okay, jom balik. Tapi lepas ni kita kena buat lagi,” Aina said, her voice playful.

Yasmin shook her head but smiled. “Kalau viral, aku tak tahu nak cakap apa.”

Aina shrugged dramatically. “Tunggu je, nanti kau akan jadi famous, Min. Jangan lupa kawan lama.”

By the time Yasmin got home, her mind was still buzzing from the afternoon out with Aina. The streets of KL felt different now—less intimidating, more like a place she could start calling home.

She stepped into the foyer of the house, greeted by the familiar smell of home-cooked food. “Min, you’re back!” Puan Mariam’s voice called out from the kitchen.

“Yeah, Mama, I’m home,” Yasmin called back, slipping her shoes off.

As she walked up to her room, her phone buzzed with a message from Aina. Yasmin clicked it open, wondering what Aina had to say about their TikTok session.

And then, Yasmin noticed something that made her pause—Mikhail had liked the video.
