                     Amethyst's POV

Tomorrow is the day of the hunting festival and I'm busy sneaking out to practice with Sylvia.

"Will you wear disguise for tomorrow's sword fighting contest?" She asked while sitting under the tree.

"Nope. The Dean said all genders can participate so I'll join as it is." I sat beside her and put Evermore and Nevermore next to me.

"Really? Youre brave. Do you know that there's only three ladies who will participate tomorrow, and that includes us?" She asked me and I nodded.

"I've heard Lady Alicia will join. Do you think we can beat her? She came from a family full of knights so I'm sure she's pro at swordmanship." She continued.

"Just stick to your practice,Syl. Besides, I have to win. I wanted that prize, remember?" I replied.

"I know. But why do you need it anyway, I've seen your brothers looking desperate to gain your attention nowadays. Even the Grand Duke is visiting the academy for you.Why do you want to get away from them that much?" She asked that made me took a deep breath.

Eversince that day, The Figueroa's estate had a lot of turmoil than it already was. All of the servants at the manor except Mira had been replaced with new ones and I might say, they always surrounds me with their big bright smile. It boggles me thinking they don't talk behind my back nor neglect me like the previous servants. They seemed a bit.. off.

"So this is where you've been hiding." Sylvia and I turned out heads to the person who spoke.

"Nini, why are you here?" I asked before standing up and dusting off my shirt and pants.

"I came to check on you at your place but Mira told me you'd be here." He helped me get the stuck up leaves on my hair before turning his head on Sylvia.

"Good day, Lady Sylvia." Felix smiled at her causing her to blush. Oh, don't tell me she had a crush on my brother?

"G-greetings to the emperor's nephew. Good day to you too, Your highness Prince Felix." She greeted and Felix just chuckled at her.

"Drop the formalities,Lady Sylvia. My sister's friend is also my friend. You can call me Felix." He said.

"T-then.please call me Sylvia." She replied.

"Alright, Sylvia." Felix answered.

We finished up and Sylvia decided to go home to rest for tomorrow while I change my clothes and take my brother on mother's garden. Of course, I got the Grand Duke's permission but Rey and Reno looked like they're opposing.

"So, you sure you're going to join for tomorrow? You know I can give you a mansion if you'd just let me." He said while walking.

"You know me,Nini. I want to lay low. I'll just take Mira with me and I don't need a lot of servants on my dorm." I replied. He laughed and ruffled my hair.

"You're talking as if you're sure you're gonna win." He said and I smirked at him.

"You know me, once I put my mind to it I'm going to have it." I answered.

"Just be careful." He patted my head.

"Mm! You're going to watch me right?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Of course, I'm gonna cheer on my sister." He said making me smile.

"You better be. You have to cope up for the lost time that we haven't been together." I pouted at him making him laugh more.
