(Boreas Village)
Blaze begins to roll up his tent and sleeping bag so he can pack his things; while packing his stuff, he hears footsteps beside him and then hears Arpina's Voice: "Good morning, Blaze!" Arpina presents a mug of coffee to Blaze and warmly smiles at him. "Here, coffee makes every Morning better." Blaze looks at the mug of coffee and grabs it from Arpina. "I don't have to worry about your poisoning now, do I?" Arpina giggles. "Very funny, you big chicken; just because I told you those things last night doesn't mean I meant them, but if you prefer to stay sleepy and unalert, then you could just dump the coffee and wait to make your own at the next stop we have which is miles from where we are now."
Blaze sighs as he notices the sound of care in Arpina's voice, even if she does sound harsh. "thank you, Arpina." Arpina hears Blaze's thank you and shares a warm smile with him. "You're welcome. Do you need any help to repack your stuff?" Blaze chuckles. "Well, maybe I could use at least some help taking down the stakes to the tent." Arpina nods. "I can help you with that. Caden is cooking meals for us before we head out; today, we'll have a big breakfast, and then it's up to hiking to the mountains."
Blaze responds to Arpina, "The Mountains, Arpina, you don't mean the mountains where we saw that explosion last night, do you?" Arpina shakes her head. "Not those mountains, silly, the ones we are below right now; you thought we were heading straight to the location of a blue explosion without even knowing if the Lucario exists in this region?"
"But you said you had enough proof last night, didn't you?" Arpina giggles. "Blaze, I never said that we have enough proof; I just stated that the explosion could be caused by a Lucario that could mega-evolve, and I was also drunk on my tail last night, remember?" Blaze covers his mouth and laughs. "you know you are pretty bossy and kind of cute when you are drunk." Arpina gasps and blushes. "Stop it!" she covers her face, embarrassed. "fine, I'll stop, but it is true." Arpina rolls her eyes. "Maybe I need to stop getting drunk in front of you, or maybe." She presses her claw onto Blaze's Chest. "I should get drunk and come after you in your tent." Blaze chirps, surprised as he feels Arpina touch his chest. "please don't; my tent is my safe place!" Arpina giggles. "Oh, really, are you sure you don't get lonely by yourself, Blaze?" she seductively pushes him and crawls on his body. "Ah, Arpina, this isn't the right time!" Caden then raises his voice. "Hey, you two, Breakfast is ready!"
Arpina purrs into Blaze's ear seductively and whispers to him, "Chickens are considered Prey to foxes." She then sits on the grass and turns to Caden. "wow, you cook quick, Caden." Blaze sighs in relief, his heart beating rapidly and his body decreasing from his arousal, and thinks to himself, "She really knows how to get in my feathers and not in a bad way either, ever since I was just a torchic and she was a fennekin, as we both grew up together she would get closer and closer to me, maybe it's just her mature genes kicking in, or maybe she is just using her seductive side to get a kick out of me, but whatever it is, Arpina is definitely a whole book when it comes to reading her personality, and I like that about her." Blaze then heads to the group and sits on the third seat beside Caden and Arpina.
Caden smiles, "Good morning, Blaze. I'm sorry I wasn't able to say it earlier. I had to make all of us something to eat." Blaze smiled back. "It's ok, Caden, and thank you for the food." Arpina looks to the two of them and speaks. "okay, team, here is the daily brief for the day; we will stop by the village and get ourselves some equipment and last-minute items we need, then after our village visit, we will be heading higher into the mountains to find us a cave to keep for the remainder of our guild Mission." Caden raises his hand, and Arpina responds to him "yes, Caden?"
Caden clears his throat, then speaks, "Speaking of caves, we will need to make sure we all get some winter survival gear from the village. The locals here say that the mountains get freezing temperatures, and there are multiple winter storms that will lower our visibility when we travel up there."
"Good Point Caden, so everyone remembers we are here til our mission is complete, and we will not be heading back to our guild anytime soon." Blaze raises his hand, and Arpina nods her head. "speaking of the new location, we need to be aware that we won't be the only guild out there, and what I've heard from the locals here is that the guilds that used to be around; have all become corrupted and are now a massive throat cutting business." Arpina responds to Blaze "another point I want to make going off your words Blaze, we have three other expedition teams out there that are friendly, but remember we aren't back in our region anymore, multiple outlaw expedition teams have been encountered, by our allies and let's not forget we still have wild Pokemon that aren't like us but are the same species."
Blaze and Caden nod their heads. "Also, remember, if any Pokemon can Mega evolve just like Blaze and our special Lucario, we need to be very careful; we all saw that explosion last night in the mountains, so let's not get ourselves caught in something like that." The entire team finishes their meals, and they gather everything from their camp. "well team lets head to the village so we can gather more equipment, remember we need as much as we can carry so when we find a cave we can set up shop, and begin tracking the high-value target."
