Araceli's POV
"I need fabric, does anyone have a car I can borrow?" I asked as I entered the dining room, avoiding looking at Niko.
It's been about two weeks since I broke down in front of Niko and fell asleep in his arms. And let's just say it's been awkward between us.
"I can drive you sis." Alexander says. I nodded wordlessly.
After talking to Sof about what to do i decided to act normal, avoid talking too much about my family and life in Spain, keep my tattoo of the Spanish mafia a secret, and keep my distance from all of them.
I followed Alexander out and into his jeep.
"So you know what fabrics your getting?" He asked me as he pulled out of the driveway.
"I have an idea but it's a go with the flow once I get there." I say as I stare at my phone.
"Can I see the design when we get there?" He asked hopeful but I only shrugged in response.
I've always hated showing people my designs but i especially can't show him my designs. He may recognize them and I don't really want to answer those questions.
"You know we're really glad to have you home." He says softly, glancing at me.
"Why? You guys don't know me." I asked, harsher than I intended. He viably flinched at that.
"Because you're our baby sister and my twin. No matter where you lived your whole life, it doesn't change that our DNA is the same. You're our family." He tells me.
"I have a family. I have a papa, my big brothers and my baby brother. All who love me very much. I don't need a bunch of people, who I don't know, trying to tell me they're my family when I have a family. A family you guys took me from." I snapped.
"You don't mean that Lessie." He whispers.
"My name is Araceli, malditamente úsalo." I tell him before putting my earbuds in. (Fucking use it)
Mi Familia
Me: Estoy harta de esto (I'm sick of this)
Papa: what happened?
Me: they keep calling me Lessie or Stori. I hate it.
Rafe: Do they not know your name is Araceli?
Me: They do they just insist in calling me those names.
Papa: maybe they're trying to make up for lost time. Give them a chance.
Me: I have a family. You guys. Not them. Sorry papa but no. I'm only here until the problem gets resolved and that's it.
Luc: tell them I'll beat them up if they keep calling you that.
Milo: HA Luc you're so funny. You can't hurt a fly!
Luc: yes I can. Right Celi?
Me: Luci, I love you but no.
Rafe: HAHAHA LOSER
Luc: IM BEING BULLIED!!!
Me: Sorry baby but that's what being the youngest is about.
Luc: your a butt face Celi.
Papa: Luciano be nice to your sister.
Luc: WHAT
Me: Thank you papa!!
Rafe: HAHA
Luc: How is this fair!??
Milo: Ari is papa's favorite and golden child. Anything she wants, she gets. She's untouchable little bro. You should know this.
Luc: whatever.
Me: awwe Luc don't be pouty and upset haha
Luc: I'm ignoring you.
I laughed as I turned off my phone, noticing the car stopped. Alexander was already opening my door by the time I unbuckled myself. I got out of the car, muttering a thank you before walking into the fabric store.
I pull up the photo of the design and began scanning through all the fabric options, the design slowly rebuilding itself but in color in my mind.
Alexander's POV
Greek guys
Me: she hates us.
Dad: what? What makes you say that?
Me: maybe the fact she believes we took her away from her family. And that we're not her family.
Cas: give her time baby bro, she's probably going through a lot right now.
Seb: what about us? We all thought she was dead and then we learned she's been living happily in Spain! We're also going through shit.
Dad: Sebastian! She had an entire life there, we uprooted her away from everyone she loves. Naturally she's closed off.
Seb: whatever.
Me: I hate this dad.
Dad: me too, son
"Are you coming or no?" The voice of my sister breaks through my thoughts.
"Yeah, sis" I smiled at her and followed her. I saw she was holding a bunch of fabrics in her hand so I gently grabbed them from her making her pause before continuing.
"Green or blue?" She asked, looking at two different colors.
"Why chose. We can buy both of them." I asked.
"Yeah your rich and whatnot. But seriously blue" she lifts the blue "or green?" She lifts the green.
"The green brings out the yellow in your eyes while the blue dulls them." I said, making her nod. She grabbed the green and handed it to me.
"Okay I think we have everything. Let's go check out." She says and leads to the register area. I scanned all the fabrics and just as she was about to pay, i scanned my black card.
"Hey I was going to pay for that." She protested.
"You're my baby sister. You'll never have to pay for anything again. We won't let you." I tell her. She glares at me for a minute before groaning.
"Fine. Whatever makes you happy or whatever." She rolls her eyes and gives the cashier a bright smile as she turns to leave. I pick up the bags and follow my sister out.
