You Can Hear Chapter 3 Salted Lemon

Just as he finished speaking, Lin Wei Xia stood in front of Ban Sheng.

Suddenly, it began to rain heavily.

In the distance, there was a sound of a signboard being knocked down by the strong wind.

The phone in Lin Wei Xia's pocket vibrated. She took it out and looked down, then turned and walked out without looking at them.

The text message displayed on the phone screen showed the owner's anxiety: [I waited in the park near his house for more than two hours, but no one showed up, and my wallet was lost.]

[It's so dark, it seems like a typhoon is coming.]

The wind blew a leaf off, swaying and floating on Lin Wei Xia's head.

Ban Sheng took a look at the dark green leaves embedded in the girl's long black hair, retracted his gaze, patted the back of his head, and said briefly:
    "Let's go."

Lin Wei Xia edited the text message while walking, and said soothingly: [Don't worry, send me your address, I'll come to pick you up.]

After sending the message, Lin Wei Xia returned to the Internet cafe to get her schoolbag, walked out and hailed a taxi.

Not long after getting in the taxi, heavy rain poured down, and the raindrops hit the car windows and made a tinkling sound.

The whole city was shrouded in a hazy humidity.

The road was a little congested, and the taxi braked suddenly after driving for a while.

Lin Wei Xia glanced at the red light not far away and couldn't help saying:
"Master, can you please hurry up?"

The driver was an older brother.

He laughed heartily, speaking Mandarin mixed with local dialect: "Girl, it's too urgent to come now because of the typhoon. Are you going to meet your son? So urgent."

"No, my friend is waiting for me." Lin Wei Xia replied.

The 20-minute ride was due to the typhoon, and the taxi stopped and started all the way, snaking in the rain.

Finally, it took them nearly 40 minutes to reach the park that Liu Si Jia mentioned.

Lin Wei Xia pushed the door of the car, and the rain rushed in obliquely, and the raindrops stuck to her clothes.

She hurriedly got out of the car and stepped on a puddle.

The yellow sewage immediately soaked her white socks, and the water poured into her leather shoes, and she felt wet and cold.

Lin Wei Xia took a breath, but she didn't care. She bent down, opened her umbrella, and walked towards the park.

Lin Wei Xia walked into the park, looked around, and finally caught a glimpse of Liu Si Jia in the pavilion.

Liu Si Jia had obviously dressed up carefully today, but she looked a little embarrassed now. Her back was wet by the rain, and her black eyeliner was smudged to her lower eyelids.

It was obvious that she had been crying.

When Liu Si Jia was shaking with her hands on her shoulders, a warm apricot knitted sweater fell from the sky.

She turned around. She met a pair of quiet amber eyes.

Liu Si Jia immediately threw herself into her arms and hugged her, choking in her throat: "Thank you."
