Jaime's POV:

With Dante off seeing what was going on with Aria, me and Valarie were now looking for Alex who had disappeared during the awkward encounter.

I was holding a beer in my hand and Valarie was ahead of me looking around. My mind kept wondering back to dante and of course Aria.

Why was she in a locked bathroom by herself refusing to come out?

My train of thought was quickly disrupted.
"There she is" Valarie laughs, Alex was sitting with a girl taking photos together.

"Valarie, Jamie!" Alex squeals quickly noticing us and jumping off the couch.

"Me and Valarie were going to go outside and do more shots if you wanted to come?" I giggle the alcohol was starting to kick in now, my body numb and everything around me was either moving super slowly or extremely fast.

"Of course i'll meet you two out there" She smiles turning back around and continuing her conversation with the girl.

After bumping into more people than i can count, me and Valarie finally made it to the backyard.

It seems like we were only people out of a few who decided to go outside as there was near to no one to be seen. Besides a passed out Herrington student in the grass.

There was a huge pool that was dimly lit by the moonlight and backyard lighting. We sat down on some lounge chairs and Valarie began to unscrew the cap of Whiskey she snuck outside.

Arias POV:

After a while there was another knock on the door, I assume it's Ava once again attempting to apologise.

"go away" I wipe my tears off my face burying my head into my knees once more.

The tiles of the bathroom cold against my skin.

"It's me, Dante" I lift my head at the familiar voice.  "just me, can I come in?" I couldn't help but hesitate, why would he care? Why would I?

But before I realised what I was doing I had unlocked the door and quickly sat back down on the bathrooms floor.

He slipped into the room gently, stumbling a little before shutting the door behind him. He was drunk. I couldn't guess what time he got here.

"Ava told me what happened." He smiled awkwardly I could tell he was trying to come across as comforting but it kind of made things worse.

"um, would you like to talk about it?" He began to move towards me and took a seat a foot away.

"No." Wiping my tears once more frowning at his ask. I shouldn't have to explain anything. I shouldn't have to put up with disrespect from those beneath me, like Ava.

"Look, I came up here because I worry about you." His tone changes, from a more softer protective tone to a stern one. "If you want to keep your walls up and stay in here the whole night go ahead."

"Look you already know what happened, my input doesn't matter" he follows my eyes to the wall I was staring at.

"I know what's been said, not what happened" He smiles softly at me, an attempt to make eye contact.

"So, don't get mad. but is it true?" I feel my heart drop again, finally he manages to pull my eyes towards his.

"I.." he reaches his hand placing it gently upon my knee. "Aria, it's okay if it is."

Jaime's POV:

"Okay no that's ridiculous, how could you ever prefer Jacob over Edward" Me and Valaries laughs echo around the backyard, the water from the pool still.

"To be honest, Edward freaks me out" I giggle before pouring me and Valarie another shot each.

"Okay" Valarie jumps up from her lounge chair "stand up" She blurted reaching her hand out for mine. Taking it she pulls me to my feet.

"How do you feel about taking a swim" she whispers so no one could hear us, i couldn't help but laugh nodding my head as we both stood there drunk.

We start to pull our shoes off clumsily, before taking off our shirts and pants. Still giggling as we slowly slip into the water attempting to be as quiet as we could.

"Where is Alex?" I laugh looking around, the pool wasn't that deep so we were both able to stand. It had probably been around half an hour since we'd both seen Dante and Alex.

"So, what do you thinks going on with Aria?" Valarie begins to slowly move towards me, half of her hair was already wet whilst the rest was dry.

"I couldn't tell you, besides the fact is a lot is wrong with her" Rolling my eyes I notice Valarie get quiet again, the way she usually would whenever she was brought up.

She began to move towards the edge of the pool.

"What really happened between you two?" I quickly followed behind her, leaning against the edge to face her.

She moves her eyes to look at mine, sighing. "It's a lot to explain."

"I don't mind" I smile attempting to comfort her.

"well-" Valarie was quickly cut off by a familiar voice, Dante.

"There you two are" A girl was quietly following behind him, her arms crossed under her chest.

Aria.
