I woke up in the morning with a massive migraine, me and Jess right now are sat downstairs watching Disney films and covering our bodies with blankets, we all feel so ill today but I know I have to head back soon and feed the dog.

I heard how embarrassing I was yesterday in front of Hugh last night, I haven't got a call from him yet... he must not be interested after seeing that ugly display. I know I wouldn't be.

"Ugh, do you think Bailey likes me?" Jess says.
"I don't know why?" I ask.
"I just really like him, he's so cute and I love it when he's only looking at me and no other girl." Jess says.
"Real."
She sits up.
"You really fancy Hugh don't you?" She smirks.
"No... well yes.. nah I don't know I just liked how easy he was to speak to, like we just.. it felt like we just hit off yk? But I don't wanna read too much into it." I say
"Why not?" Jess asks.
"Because he still hasn't called me, I gave him my phone number yesterday and my phone hasn't gone off all day. Not even my mum has messaged me." I sigh and sink into the sofa even more.
Jess laughs at me.
"Oh cmon, get a grip, your gorgeous... you made him laugh multiple times last night for Christ sakes."
"Yeh, because I was embarrassing" I say.
"No! But it is weird that your mum hasn't messaged you at all." She says.
"Yeah I know right?" I say .

"Why hasn't anyone messaged me all day!" I shout.
"Woah woah woah, maybe your WiFi isn't on?" Jess said.
I scoff "Jess do you really think I'm that stupid to not put on my wifi"
"Wait no because I got a new WiFi box" Jess says.
I stare at her and face palm myself
"And you onlt just realised!?" I ask.
Jess grabs my phone and runs to connect the WiFi.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry"
I sigh and lay back in the sofa and wait for her to come back.
"Here" she passes my phone to me and 100 notifications come pinging through my phone.
"Omg my mum has messaged me 3 times" I laugh.
"People do care about you?" Jess jokes.
I throw a pillow at her.
"Any notifications from him?" She asks.
I look at her, bite my lip and squeal.
"yes! He called me twice and left me a message"
Jess gets up and starts dancing and I join in with her.
"Okay okay so call him." She says.
"Okay." I sigh with happiness.

Hey, I tried calling you? It's Hugh from last night. Hope your okay now.

I press the ring button and as soon as it starts ringing I get nervous and start looking at Jess for help. It rang for a couple more seconds before..

"Hello?" Hugh says from the other line of the phone.

I stay silent and aggressively whisper "WHAT DO I SAY" to Jess.

"JUST SAY SOMETHING GODDAMNIT" she aggressively whispers back.

"Hello?" Hugh says again.
"Hi" I say.
"Woah you answered" he says.
I go silent again.
"Kate?" He questions.
"Hugh?" I say back.
"How are you feeling?" He laughs.
"I'm feeling really bad at the moment to be frank, I hope I wasn't too embarrassing yesterday." I say
"No not at all, it just drew me to you even more." He says.

I wide eye Jess and she does the same.

"Really?" I question.
"Yeah, if you don't mind I'd like to ask you out on a date. Of course you can say no if you wouldn't like to, I get it if I've come on too strong and that but... wow your just beautiful." He says sounding nervous.
"I'd love to." I say and bite my lip.
"You would? Great." He says with excitement.
"When?" I ask.
"How about tomorrow at 7:30pm, I'll pick you up? If you send me your address." He says.
"Of course." I smile
"Wonderful, make sure you put cold ice on that finger as well, it will help it." He says.
I look at finger and realised a massive chunk of my flesh had been taken off.
"I don't even want to know how that happened." I say
Hugh laughs down the phone,
"Trust me I don't want to explain it."
"Okay, we'll I'll see tomorrow Hugh, and you can text me later." I say
"Of course darling." He says back.

I drop the phone squealing and throwing my arms in the air.
