Changbin curled more into his blankets. He was emotionally exhausted from the day. I should be relieved that I am not pregnant, but why do I feel so sad? He asked himself. He heard a soft knock on his door, making him hide further into his blankets.
Seungmin slowly opened the door. "Hyung, do you need anything?" he asked as he made his way over to the older's bed and sat down. He reached over and slowly pulled blankets off the pile hiding Changbin.
Changbin whined, not wanting to come out from his hiding place. He turned his face away from the younger as he felt the last blanket being pulled away from him. He felt a hand on his back slowly rubbing it and he stifled a cry. Biting his lips he didn't understand why he was so emotional. Their relationship was to new to add the responsibility of a child, but he couldn't help the ache in his chest. Seungmin moved, and he already missed the warmth from the younger. He turned over to prostate when he realized Seungmin was just moving to lay down next to him.
They made eye contact and Seungmin could see the turmoil in the older's eyes. He opened his arms and Changbin instantly moved to curl into them. He closed his arms around the older, feeling Changbin buried into him more. Neither of them spoke, they just laid there, while he rubbed the older's back. He occasionally kissed Changbin's cheek or temple and the older would hold him a little tighter each time. It didn't take long for Changbin to fall asleep; he looked down staring at the older's peaceful place, I wish I could take all your pain away, he thought.
Changbin stirred awake, feeling overly warm. He lifted his head to see a sleeping Seungmin, and stopped his movements so he didn't wake the younger. He's so cute, he thought, taking in the younger's features. I wonder what the time is. I'm getting kind of hungry, he thought. He strained his neck trying to see if he could see his phone anywhere. Seungmin shifted above him and he stilled his movements. He relaxed snuggling back into the younger's arms. Would he even want a child? I don't even know the answer to that, he thought.
Changbin eventually fell back asleep and several hours had passed before either one of them stirred again. Seungmin woke up first this time and glanced down at the still sleeping Changbin in his arms. I hope he is feeling better. It's been a long day for him. A child...what would we have even done if he was pregnant? He asked himself. Seungmin brought his free hand up and gently pushed the older's hair out of his face. We would've made it work I think. A family...my family...he thought. He leaned down and gently kissed Changbin's temple.
Changbin stirred, opening his eyes to see Seungmin staring down at him. "What's wrong?" He asked, his voice croaked from sleep.
Seungmin shook his head, "nothing. Just thinking about how lucky I am."
Changbin blushed, "Lucky?"
"Yes, I am the luckiest person alive, because I get to have you by my side."
Changbin turned a deeper shade of red. "S-stop it," he stuttered, pushing away from the younger.
Seungmin chuckled, he is adorable when he gets all shy, he thought. "Are you ready to get up and have some food? We've been sleeping for a little while now."
Changbin nodded, and they moved to get up. He stopped Seungmin though before they fully got out of the bed. His hand playing with the older's. "Umm...thank you," he finally said, looking up at the younger.
Seungmin took his free hand and cupped the older's cheek, his thumb rubbing along Changbin's cheek. "You don't need to thank me. We are in this together. Whatever happens. I promise." He watched as the older nodded, tears threatening to spill out of Changbin's eyes. He leaned in and gave the older a gentle kiss before they got up still holding hands.
"What do you want to eat?" Seungmin asked, leading the older into the kitchen.
"Let's just order out if that's okay? One of our usual places is fine," Changbin mumbled.
"Of course. Let's go sit on the couch while we order and wait. We can put something on if you want?"
Changbin nodded and they made their way over to the couch. Seungmin sat down first, pulling him down so he was between the younger's legs. He turned so he could wrap his arms around Seungmin's waist and he buried his face into the younger's tummy. Seungmin pulled a blanket over both of them and played with his hair while ordering.
The doorbell rang, making Changbin jolt awake. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and glanced over at Seungmin who was smiling back at him. "I-I didn't mean to fall asleep again."
"It's okay. You've had a long day. I'm sure it just took a lot out of you. Food is here though. You ready to eat?"
Changbin nodded, his stomach gurgling in response to the prospect of food. They got up and Seungmin headed to the door to get the food while he went into the kitchen and grabbed some plates and utensils for them and brought them to the table. Seungmin started pulling out all the food that was ordered and placing them on the table. His eyes widened with all the selections and they were mostly his favorite dishes. He...he remembered, he thought. He felt like crying because of how emotional he was feeling. He looked over at Seungmin, who just sat down smiling at him.
"I-I love you Seungmin."
