"Wake up, babe." Jisung cried several tears of frustration. He slapped a hand on Changbin's stomach as his love laid on the bed, still snoring. The younger had been trying to wake Changbin for what felt like an eternity.
Changbin barely stirred, shuffling to turn his back to Jisung. Jisung groaned, "BABE!"
Still no luck.
Finally, Jisung decided to just get washed up and to prepare breakfast. Everything was perfect. Changbin and Jisung both worked at the same place, so they never had to spend a lot of time apart as a couple. They couldn't get luckier.
Jisung slogged through his morning routine, putting his make-up on, brushing his teeth and so on. From all the way in the bathroom, Jisung could still hear Changbin's snores. Grumbling, Jisung decided to ignore the noise and go prepare some pancakes and get the cheesecake from the fridge.
When the noise had increased, Jisung snapped. He set the cheesecake gently onto the table, but his stomping to the bedroom was anything but. He flung the door open and screeched, flying onto the bed and messing up his neatly done hair.
He tickled Changbin while screaming for him to wake up.
Several chaos later...
Changbin had Jisung pinned with one arm, slowly blinking out of grogginess. Jisung still struggled despite his awakeness against his sleepy boyfriend.
"YOU LITTLE I TRIED TO WAKE YOU UP HOW MANY TIMES I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I SPENTTRYINGTOWAKEYOURSLEEPYASSUP????!!!"
Changbin didn't even flinch as he removed his arm from Jisung's chest. He rubbed his eyes before slowly walking over to the bathroom in silence.
Jisung's eyes blew wide. The audacity.
So instead of pursuing the matter, Jisung went back to the kitchen and sat back down to continue eating his cheesecake in peace. In a matter of minutes, Changbin joined him at the table, eyeing the batter on the kitchen counter.
Changbin choked on his laugh, "SUNGIE BABY! THAT'S NOT- *wheeze* PAN- *WHEEZE* CAKES!"
The flat, round, and black messes stacked upon one another was truly a spectacle one couldn't possible begin to imagine. (my cooking be like that)
Jisung blinked and shrugged, "I don't see a problem with my pancakes."
Changbin was struggling to figure out how the mess was black, yet undercooked. The power his boyfriend wielded surpassed that of any magicians.
"Sure, babe. Now where's my real pancakes?"
"There isn't."
"WHAT?!"
~
Changbin sighed, wiping sweat off his forehead. He stared down at his perfect pancakes. He gobbled them down, watching Jisung judgingly watch him.
"What babe? I had to eat something."
Jisung pouted, "That, was revenge for forcing me to have to wake you up."
Changbin grabbed the used dishes and began washing them, humming a non-committal reply. Jisung huffed.
When the dishes were done, Changbin walked over to his cute boyfriend and ruffled his hair, "Bye, Sungie. I have to go first. Get your beauty rest for now, alright?"
Jisung made a weird face at Changbin, clearly still upset about the waking up situation.
Changbin only chuckled at the cuteness of it all. He left his sulking boyfriend in the kitchen and made sure he packed all the things he needed for work. As soon as it was time to leave, Jisung met Changbin at the door and gave him an upset peck on the cheek.
Changbin pecked Jisung's lips in response and winked before exiting. Changbin's hand dug into his pocket, checking for something before leaving.
Now that Jisung had no one to accompany him, he stalked to the bedroom. He eyed the messy bed, and thought of how inviting it was.
Relenting, he indulged in the irresistible urge.
~
Jisung awoke to the sound of his phone ringing from an incoming call. He picked it up, frowning at the unknown number.
"Hello? Who is this?"
"I- I'm sorry to say this- uhm whoever you are...but your boyfriend's gone. There was a note in his pocket saying to call...this number."
"What? Is he missing?"
"No-no...please come to XXX street, please. He's- dying."
A pang struck Jisung.
In his messy bed hair and crumpled clothes, Jisung sped to the front door, slipping on slippers despite the suit he had on.
Panting, he made it to the street. He checked his phone. It hadn't been long since Changbin last left.
It was immediately obvious who the caller was. Jisung ran over to Changbin's laid form on the sidewalk, a trail leading from the road to there. He panicked, dropping to his knees and performing CPR with what knowledge he'd once learnt.
He kept on doing it. Even when the caller told him to stop.
Several things was going on. New vehicles arrived, carrying people and equipment he couldn't name right now. All he could do was plead as his hands pumped.
"Wake up, babe..." Jisung cried several tears of frustration.
