Tails and Sonic turn seeing Amy with tears now streaming down her face as her hands covered her mouth. They look up and tear up. "No....." Sonic said as Tails dropped to his knees. A lifeless arm and long fur swings softly each step Shadow took as tears fell down his face. He looked down once more at the lifeless face of Knuckles as he carried his dead body to one of the large couches in the ballroom. Shadow caressed the cold face and tears formed more in his eyes. "We were too late...." He said and cried into Knuckles cold chest. Eva sees Shadows heartbreak and saw herself when she found Adam. She tearfully walks over to Shadow and joined him but rubs his back. "I'm so sorry.... I'm so very sorry" she said feeling his pain. "I gave him the poison an hour ago to ensure you wouldn't succeed. Guess we will have to wait until someone else who looks like him comes along and tries to find the truth too." Lila said and laughs wickedly. Sonic holds Amy as she cries while shedding tears himself. "Fuck... how am I gonna tell his father and brothers...." Shadow said to himself knowing he's going to have to tell them the sad news. "Well now all that's left is to rid the rest of you" Draco smiled wickedly. Suddenly a light appeared shocking the two then the gold figure appeared once more. It starts walking over to knuckles, shadow, and Eva yet shadow stretch out his arms in a protective manner. "DONT YOU COME NEAR HIM!!!" He yelled. "Shadow it wants to help!" Tails said. "What?! Are you crazy?!" He replied. "Shadow he's right please!" Sonic pleaded. "Trust us" Amy joined. Shadow looks at them and sighed before backing away letting the gold figure approach. A hand soon forms and caressed Eva's face making her eyes widen at the familiar touch. Then it leaned over Knuckles and another hand formed before touching his chest making his body glow for a moment. "Is it... really you?" Eva asked and the figure starts to form more as angelic light glows around it. "Wait a minute the figure. The way it helped us... could it be" Sonic said. Suddenly the figure formed in its final shape and Shadow fell back in shock. Lila and Draco was shocked as well and so we're Cesar and Cleo but they were happy. "The figure.... It's—" "Adam" Eva said with joyful tears and he smiled at her. "My sweet Evangeline" he said in a slight southern accent then held out his hand. She takes it and he held her stand up. "Oh how I missed you my love" she said and he cups her cheek. "So have I my light" he said and kisses her passing his angelic light onto her. Once they break the kiss he approaches the still shocked shadow. "Don't worry my friend, Knuckles isn't gone for I have returned his soul to his body. He will wake once my job is done here." He said then walks to Draco and Lila. "For your crimes in both life and in death therefore you are no longer deserving to join us in heaven. You two are damned to hell a long with Arnold yet you two will suffer a worst punishment." He said and snaps then fire surrounded them making them scream. They all watch in horror as Draco and Lila disappear into the flames. Adam soon walked to the middle of the ballroom and his eyes glowed a solid white and light surrounded him as a large white ball forms in his hands. "By the power of the the angel of vengeance i here by lift the angel's curse for the truth was revealed. Come thy innocent souls and join the light for your souls are now free." He extended his arms as the ball of light lifts into the air and soon souls from all around including the cemetery fly into the ball of light with joy cheers and laughter. Shadow walks up wto his friends as they watched the scene in amazement. Cleo and Cesar walks up to them and thank them for everything before they too fly into the light. Eva walks up to Adam who smiles and caressed her face. "Our love is forever" he said then kisses her once more. They break the kiss and they turn to look at the four. "Thank you all for finding out the truth and setting them free but also reuniting me with my love." Adam smiled. "Yes thank you all and I apologize for everything. This mansion is yours to keep. You will find the deed hidden in the grand fireplace over there. May your lives live in peace and happiness." She said then turns her attention back to Adam before they too fade into the light. The light rose as more souls joined, then once the last soul was collected the light vanished leaving the mansion empty and quiet. "Whoa....." Sonic and Tails said. "I can't believe this actually happened.... Man no one is going to believe this..." Amy said. Shadow goes to say something before they all hear a gasp and turn seeing Knuckles was alive. "KNUX!" They all said in joy and ran to him but shadow wraps his arms around him crying with joy. "Thank god I thought I lost you." He said. "Ok I'm so confused right now. What do you mean lost me?" He asked. "Well it's a good thing you're sitting down because there's so much to explain." Tails smirked.
