The halls of prestigious and prominent Barrington Academy were empty of any known life that night. Empty and eerily silent.
Especially in the trashed office of the new headmistress Prudence Worthington.
Of course, all of the school was not empty. Not in the office.
On the carpeted floor just beyond the turned over desk , which had spilled paperwork and books and a potted plant onto the surface , rested the untidily sprawled body of Prudence Worthington.
The headmistress lay on her stomach in a spreading pool of blood , and , her outstretched hand seemed as though it were reaching out for assistance.... help......help that never came.
Her skirt was yanked up to expose her saggy pale buttocks. In her mouth was stuffed her baggy old fashioned elastic waist panties. Her legs were spread wide open and her eyes staring up sightlessly at the ceiling.
Next to her on the right was Gerald's heavy blood stained plaque.
On the left was a typed note that said "WE MATTER ".
