Louis pushed the glass doors open and rushed out into the freezing late October night air. He had to get out of here as quickly as possible and get his mind off of this. His mind was spinning, Louis felt like the whole world was spinning. No he felt like it had turned upside down, everything was wrong and changed.

But it hadn't, right?

He wasn't sure what had happened, it all felt so blurry and blended together in his mind. One moment they had been arguing and the next Harry's soft lips had been on his and his hands roaming on the other boy's honey skin. Even the memory made Louis' stomach tighten. This couldn't happen to him now. He was 21-years-old for fucks sake he couldn't have some sexual revolution now. Could he? No, he was just confused. Mixing anger and lust together, needing to get it out somehow.

But why did it feel so good?

Lost in a haze, Louis texted their group chat a quick message, asking Liam and Niall to meet him at their usual bar just a 15 minute walk from the ice rink and 10 from their flat. It didn't take long for his phone to buzz in Louis' hand and Niall sent an excited emoji and 'omw'. Soon Liam replied he was heading towards the bar as well.

Good, now Louis could have something else to think about. He needed to forget all this and just focus on the competition season. And for tonight, getting blastered.

Soon he saw the familiar red neon sign flash on the building in front of him and Louis hopped to the other side of the road. The bar, Medicine, was known as the place where figure skaters and hockey players would hang out and you know, hook up. It was a small pub near the ice rink with possibilities to just hang out with friends, play pool or board games and sometimes some people even went crazy enough to dance.

A nice little cozy pub for people to hook up and meet their friends. After all this sport was demanding, time consuming and tiring so it was nice to loosen up once in a while.

It wasn't even 8pm and there were already people chatting outside with cigarettes and glasses in hand. Most of them had probably headed out here immediately after practice as it was Friday night. Louis greeted a couple of girls he recognized from the ice rink as they waved at her with happy smiles.

He walked to the door where the bouncer stood with a serious look on his face, dressed in all black as usual.

"Hi Carl." Louis smiled at the large man with a long beard that had been tied with a couple of elastic bands. His serious look changed into a smile as he recognized Louis.

"Hey Louis, how's practice?" He asked, taking the ID Louis had handed to him as a formality. Carl recognized him nowadays and he knew Louis was 21 but just in case some twat would see and complain he always showed his ID.

"Good, good yeah. Having a bit of a tough time with me jumps but hanging there." Louis shrugged.

"Competitions are getting closer you know so gotta get my shit together soon."

"Right, and coming here is gonna do that." Carl joked, giving him a playful wink.

"Piss off mate, I just need a bit of a break with me brain you know what I mean."

"Yeah yeah just messing with you lad. Have fun." Carl let him inside as there were now other people waiting to get inside as well.

The air inside felt damp and there was a smell of old beer and about a thousand different perfumes mixing together. There was music was playing in the background, loud enough for people to dance if they wanted to but not loud in a way you couldn't even hear your own thoughts. Louis' eyes searched his friends if they had managed to make it here before him which they had.
