Welp. I'd say that was great. I'm amazing, cmon round of applause please and thank you.
Im staring at the now demolished warehouse. Mmm the smell of burning flesh. Actually, that's fucking gross. I try to hold myself from gagging. I pull my pistol from my holster amd walk along the side of the remnants. I mean the building was hideous so I did it a favor. I make it to the front. Everyone is on their knees, hands behind their heads. Realm looks up at me. His expression quite unreadable.
"DROP YOUR WEAPON." A Man screams. His rifle aimed right at me.
"Pfft. I'm quite fine thanks." I smile standing in front of everyone.
"That was you!?!?" The man uses his gun to gesture at the non existent warehouse behind me.
"Of course it was me." I chuckle.
Another man chimes in.
"Drop your fucking weapon!"
I roll my eyes. I hear Levi curse as another man jabs him in shoulder.
I scan over everyone. Nobody seems hurt. Autumn shakes as small tears run down her cheeks. For fuck sakes.
"Drop it or I'll shoot him!" Two men point their guns at Realm.
"Violet don't-"
"That would be unwise." I state.
I hear the safety click off.
"Great, all you sons of bitches have to die now." I sigh.
They look confused but its quickly hidden by the blood dripping down either side of their face. Everyone jumps up. Gun fire screams through the air. I take care of the men to my left before running to Autumn and Zero. I get in front of them.
"Well?"
"Well what?!?" Zero shouts over the gun fire.
I roll my eyes.
"Is anyone hurt?"
They shake their heads. A man hollers catching my attention. His gun aimed at me. I shoot him in the leg. Realm appears in front of me.
"Don't be stupid." I say stepping back in front of him.
I shoot another man in the chest, then one in the back. Everything goes silent. All I can hear is the heavy panting of Levi's crew and my own.
I turn to everyone. They all raise their heads.
"Congrats, no one died!" I smile. They look almost annoyed.
Levi wipes the sweat from his forehead.
"Well that was definitely one way to get rid of the bombs."
"Yeah, you know I like taking the more creative approaches." I place my hands on my hips. I hear a few chuckles.
"I guess we don't have to worry about the govornors office anymore." Levi smiles. I notice the smiles arriving.
"I say we celebrate."
"Yeah I could use a drink, or four." I acknowledge adjusting my belt.
Realm sneers.
"I'll make a reservation. Let's head to Altons club on 5th." Levi laughs and each group heads to their separate vehicles.
I get in the front passenger and sink into the seat.
"That's was exhausting." I mutter.
Autumn shuts her door.
"That was remarkably stupid yet fortunately genius at the same time." She smiles.
"What can I say, I'm know for being a hot, intellectual, knowledgeable braniac." I smile at her through the rear view.
She rolls her eyes.
Realm shuts his door.
"I'm not sure whether to shoot you or thank you."
"Shoot me, put me put of the misery of being here."
He snickers.
"Whatever." The car starts and we're off.
I listen to the whole lay down of how cool it was seeing the building blow up, Zero ranted about some guy he fought and how amazing he is for not getting himself killed. Autumn went on and on about how she really thought everyone was done for until my awesome self put a dent in that. Realm stayed quiet. I'm guessing he's more of a silent judging asshole. I argued with Zero for a while about how there was no other way for us to get out of that mess besides what I did. Annoying since he wasn't the one who pulled the idea out of his ass.
The sun is almost fully set. The sky a gloomy gray. I wish I could leave. Go somewhere new. Somewhere away from these people where I could be alone to suffer with my own thoughts for a while. All this hero bullshit has gotten in the way of my daily mental breakdowns. The car slows. We're parked in front of the club Levi told us to come to. It's got a huge LED sign on the front. Bright enough to fucking blind you if you stared at it ling enough. I sigh. I'm normally the type to drink alone. But a drink is a drink, so let's get this over with.
