Hey gang sorry it's a little short, I will definitely have the future chapters longer trust. I hope you enjoy.

Jayce was working the register like always. He was the one who worked best with customers, so he did the register everyday.

He did not mind though, anything to keep his parents' café running. It was a small place down the road from Piltover Academy. It was nice and cozy with warm lighting, tables, and booths.

The walls were brick with vines and flowers growing along them. The lights were hanging in rows across the ceiling emitting a warm glow.

Gentle hints of gold were spread around the café, embedded in the wood of tables or swirls in the glass of the light fixtures. Just enough to be noticeable but not too overbearing.

The outside was just as lovely and soft to look at. Bushes on either side of the door with white flowers blooming in the spring. The café name was sprawled in big cursive letters across the top reading "The Talis Café."

Jayce loved examining the café, he always managed to find some new fine detail. Today he found his family crest engraved into the back of a chair.

It was a coffee botany emblem with flowers blooming from the stem, there was a small butterfly resting on one of the flowers.

It was simple yet said so much at the same time. Jayce smiled as he looked at the chair.

He was quickly brought out of his thoughts by the sound of the door opening, he looked up and his breath caught in his throat at the site of the man that walked in.

He had short brown hair that wisps in front of his amber eyes, his skin was pale, and his jawline was sharp. He was using a cane to steady himself while walking closer.

The golden glow of the sunlight through the windows made him look ethereal. Jayce was awestruck; his mouth open slightly as he watched this mysterious man reached him at the register.

He then locked eyes with the man, and he could feel his cheeks get warm. The man gave a small nod and waited expectantly.

Jayce was then brought back to reality, and he cleared his throat. "Uhm..hello w-welcome to the uh Talis Café what can I get you today?" He looked down at the register nervously trying not to stumble over his words more than he already was.

He looked back up and saw the stranger chuckle softly before he spoke, obviously amused. "I will take a black coffee please, with sweet milk. And a chocolate chip muffin." The man had a Czech accent that made Jayce gulp. It was incredibly attractive.

Jayce took a deep breath and smiled back as he typed it into the register. "Okay that will be $12.85 please." He watched as the man took out his wallet and handed him some cash.

He took it and handed him his change. As the man grabbed it Jayce spoke softly "Uhm.. a name to go with your drink sir?" The man smiled.

"Viktor, with a K not a C." Jayce nodded as he wrote on the cup. "Alright your order will be out soon Viktor, you can go have a seat if you'd like and I will call your name when it's ready."

Jayce watched as Viktor nodded and walked to sit in a booth by the window. Jayce almost forgot about the next person in line with how focused he was on Viktor.

After a few minutes Viktor's order was ready and Jayce once again watched him grab his order and sit back down.

He could not help but watch the man. He was so...beautiful. Not a single feature of his looked bad. His staring seemed to be too obvious as the man look up right at him.

Jayce's eyes widened and he looked away quickly pretending to do something on the register.

He slowly looked up peaking a glance at Viktor, the man was still looking over, he was stifling a laugh and gave a small wave when he saw Jayce look up again.

Jayce smiled dumbly and waved back before looking away to take someone's order. As he talked to the stranger he could feel Viktor's eyes still on him.

But when he looked over again Viktor was back to sipping his coffee while reading a book.

The rest of at the time Viktor was there Jayce continued to steal glances as he worked. He watched as Viktor turned a page.

He watched as Viktor took a bite out of his muffin, or took a sip of his coffee. He watched as Viktor stood up and threw away his empty cup.

He watched as Viktor turned and gave him a small smile. He watched as Viktor walked out of the café.

All he could do was watch, watch and hope that he would show up again the next day.
