What The Ninja!?

Chapter 8

Andy had snuck into Donnie's lab, only to see Max on his shell phone, and Donnie facing a computer. He had searched the lab carefully and with his ninja stealth, and finally came across the clean white bandages. The material in his human hands, Andy sprinted for the door, only to run right into Donnie.

"What are you doing mister? Sneaking around my lab isn't a great choice. Especially when it belongs to a ninja, turtle." Donnie said, his green arms crossed over his chest.

"I...I just needed some bandage stuff...for uh...people." Andy stuttered, making me face palm from the hallway.

"Uh huh. Bandage stuff for people. Very convincing Andy." Donnie deadpanned.

"Y-yeah." Andy mumbled trying to pass his uncle.

Donnie put up his hand, stopping he's nephew. But Andy ducked under the three fingered hand, and bolted for the door. And that's how Andy ended up face first into the floor. Donnie had kicked his legs down, Andy smashing against the tile floor.

"So, why don't you tell me what your up to, and I can leave your father out of this." Donnie whispered, making Andy gulp.

His eyes met mine from outside the lab, and Andy stared up at his uncle.

"That information is not mine to share." Andy said.

He's such a gentleman.

With those words, Donnie respected his nephew, and let him pass, only to turn around and see me.

And my shoulder.

"What the...Erin! What on earth happened to you!?" Donnie asked, rushing out towards me, Andy apologizing with his eyes.

Donnie escorted me to his lab, kicking Max off the examination table. Max's eyes were wide, as he looked at my scar, bandages covering his face and arms.

"Oh my pizza." Max gaped, turning pale, and then falling to the floor unconscious.

"Great." Donnie mumbled, not impressed what so ever.

Donnie studied my arm, unable to comprehend how bad the scar was.

"Erin, what did this to you?" Donnie asked, his face worried.

"I fell on my-"

"Don't you dare tell me you fell on your stupid bike. Someone had to do this to you. Something even! This is a serious scar Erin." Donnie said, making me gulp down vomit.

"I...I..." I started to choke on my words, unable to say anything but a stutter.

"I went to the hospital. T-the doctors took care of it." I said, not meeting eyes with Donnie.

"What happened?" Donnie pressed.

"It was an accident..." I mumbled.

"Erin."

"She doesn't want to talk about it!" Andy yelled, making Donnie and myself jump.

And at that very moment, Leo had to walk in.

"Oh my god." Leo grew a pale green, dropping a Space Hero's magazine into the floor.

"Ugh! Dad!" Andy sighed, trying to push his father away.

"E-Erin." Leo stumbled towards me, Andy pulling on his arm.

Donnie studied the wound, a giant green scab still stuck onto my skin, stuff oozing out of my shoulder. He took a bottle of liquid, and a Q-tip, Andy begging his father to leave.

Raph and Mikey walked in, both screaming and yelling at each other about what had happened earlier.

"You need to get your daughter under control Raph! My little dude could have been seriously hurt like the last time!" Mikey yelled, catching me by surprise.
