Scarlet's POV....
I sat with Elenore on a huge rock right outside the willows branches. Most of the pack had gone hunting, only me Elenore, Levi, and Mitch Were still near camp. Mitch's back pack was at his feet and began to move around. "Uhhh I'm no expert but I don't think it's supost to move." I said pointing at his back pack.
Mitch quickly grabed his bag and held it aginst his chest not looking at us. "Whats in it?" Elenore asked.
Mitch didn't answer. "you can trust us." I said moving closer to him.
He looked at me and smiled. "I know." He whispered.
He grabbed the zipper and slowwly unzipped it. A small fury head poped up. A tabby kitten. "Awwww! A kitty!" Me and Elenore gasp.
I had only seen stray cats wondering around the forest and was always drawn to them. "Please let me keep it I found it starving and I have been feeding it." Mitch begged.
He looked at me with pleading eyes. "Of course you can keep it I love kittens!" I remarked.
"Thank you! Do you want to hold him?" He asked holding him up.
"Of course!" I said gently taking the kitten into my hands.
I started to scratch it behind the ear and it purred loudly. "His name is griffon." Mitch said reaching over and rubbing its head.
"Thats an adorable name." I said.
It looked up at me with it's big blue eyes, It let out a little mew and put it's paw on my nose. "I think he likes you." Mitch said.
"Can I hold it?" Elenore asked.
"Yeah here." I said handing him to her.
Levi was sitting on the other side of her and started to stroke the small tabby. The bushes rusled and Ralph walked out holding two squirrels. "Ahhhhhh!" He suddenly yelled.
"What is it?" I asked confused.
"That!" he growled pointing at the kitten. "Cats hate me!" He remarked backing away.
"Probrobly because your too loud." Elenore retorted, obviously angry that he was treating the kitten harshly.
"Keep it away from me!" He said.
Griffon turned and looked at him, He leaped from Elenore's grasp and walked towards Ralph. Ralph screamed, droping his squirrels he turned and ran back into the trees.
Everyone began laughing. "He is Scared of something only a fraction of his size!" Mitch laughed.
Griffon bent down and grabbed one of the squirrels and drug it back to Mitch. He layed it in front of him and meowed. "Good kitty!" I said picking him up, and handing him to mitch. The bushes began to rusel again. "Come back for more Ralph?" I joked.
Then the scent hit me, it wasn't Ralph. A strawberry blonde girl walked trough the bushes. "Mitch there you are!" She remarked rushing to him.
My ears started to burn in anger. "Whos this?" I asked staring her down.
"This is Rachel." Mitch sighed in annoyance.
"I'm his mate." Rachel declared.
Fury burned hot inside me. "for the last time you are not my mate." Mitch growled.
"Who is this!?" I asked, anger clear in my voice.
"A girl from my old pack, she became rouge before me after she killed a pup" my mate told me calming my nerves a bit.
"And I'm his mate." She said snootily.
"No. I am." I growled stepping between her and my mate.
"Get out of my way!" Rachel said in her high pitched voice.
"Get out of my territory!" I snarled.
"Uh oh shes pissed!" Elenore said.
"I can go where I want!" Rachel insited shifting into a brown wolf.
" Your about to get a rude awakening!" I growled shifting.
Rachel lunged towards me and I side stepped making her miss. I felt the rage growing inside me with every heart beat.
I Leaped at her throwing her to the ground. "Go Scarlet!" Elenore cheered, enjoying the fight.
Rachel got to her paws, and ran towards me. I ran at her too lowering my head I bashed it to hers, with twice the strength she did. She stummbled back dazed.
I took my opertunity and grabed her by the back of the neck. I raised her off her paws and shook her violently, then threw her aginst a tree. She tried to get to her paws but fell back down. "This forest belongs to the night shades, set foot here again and you won't escape with your life!" I growled shifting back.
Rachel shifted and stood up, covered in dirt and scratches. She stared at me with pure hatred. "Go!" I roared at her.
She stumbled away with a wimper. I turned back to my pack. Elenore was sitting there clapping, while the two boys were gapeing in disbeleaf.
"And thats why you don't cross Scarlet." Elenore giggled
