The next morning, sunlight streamed through the hotel room's floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a warm glow over the tangled sheets and bare skin of Orm and Lingling. Lingling stirred first, her eyes lazily tracing the curve of Orm's shoulder as she lay beside her.
"You're staring again," Orm murmured sleepily, a faint smile tugging at her lips without even opening her eyes.

"Can you blame me?" Lingling teased, brushing a strand of hair from Orm's face before leaning in to kiss her softly. "You're irresistible."

Orm chuckled, rolling onto her back and stretching languidly. The movement caught Lingling's attention, and before Orm could protest, Lingling climbed on top of her, pinning her gently against the mattress.

"Ling..." Orm started, but Lingling silenced her with another kiss, this one deeper and more insistent. Her hands roamed freely, exploring every inch of Orm's body until they settled on her breasts, teasing her nipples playfully.

Orm let out a soft moan, her fingers threading through Lingling's hair as their bodies moved together in perfect rhythm. It wasn't long before they both reached their peak, collapsing into each other's arms afterward, breathless and sated.

Afterward, Lingling ordered room service while Orm lounged on the bed, scrolling through her phone. When the food arrived, Lingling noticed that Orm barely touched her plate.

"You're not eating much," Lingling observed, frowning slightly. "Is something wrong?"

Orm hesitated, setting her fork down. She knew Lingling wouldn't drop it if she avoided answering, so she sighed and decided to address the elephant in the room.

"It's about Ying," Orm admitted quietly, avoiding Lingling's gaze. "I didn't want to lie to you last night."
Lingling stiffened, her fork pausing mid-air. "What about Ying?"

Orm took a deep breath, choosing her words carefully. "We... slept together. A long time ago. Before you and I date. But it was never anything serious—it was just... complicated."

Lingling's expression darkened, disappointment flickering across her features. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I didn't think it mattered," Orm replied honestly. "It's all in the past, Ling. It doesn't change how I feel about you now."

Lingling looked away, processing the information. After a moment, she nodded reluctantly. "Okay. Just... don't keep things from me, alright?"

Orm reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Lingling's arm. "I won't. Promise."

To lighten the mood, Orm changed the subject. "Hey, since you don't have work today, do you want to come with me to my video shoot? It's for a car ad campaign—I think you'll enjoy it."

Lingling perked up slightly, intrigued by the idea. "Sure. Why not?"

At the studio, Suzie greeted them enthusiastically, "Ah the infamous Dr Perfect! Is also here" Suzie exclaimed, eyeing her approvingly. "You owe me that free dermatology treatment you promised, by the way."
Lingling laughed nervously, glancing at Orm. "Right. Of course. Consider it done."

Suzie smirked, then turned her attention back to Orm, her expression shifting to mock disapproval. "Seriously, Orm? Look at these hickeys! How am I supposed to cover them all for the shoot?"

Orm rolled her eyes, unfazed. "Blame your Dr. Perfect for being too rough."

Suzie shot Lingling a pointed glare. "You better take care of her, Doc. If she gets hurt or stressed because of you, I'll personally hunt you down."

Lingling raised her hands defensively, laughing awkwardly. "Message received."

As the shoot began, Lingling watched Orm interact with the crew and photographer. Orm was effortlessly charming, laughing and joking with everyone on set. She hugged each member of the team warmly, exchanging playful banter and compliments. At one point, a male crew member gave Orm a friendly hug—and lingered just a little too long, his hand resting casually on her lower back as they parted ways.

Lingling's jaw tightened, her stomach churning with jealousy. She hadn't realized how naturally affectionate Orm was—or how comfortable others seemed to be around her. Was this normal behavior for Orm, or were they taking advantage of her friendliness?

When Orm leaned in to whisper something to the male makeup artist, who responded with a flirtatious grin, Lingling felt her irritation spike. She clenched her fists, forcing herself to stay calm.

"What's wrong?" Orm asked later during a break, noticing Lingling's tense demeanor.

"Nothing," Lingling lied, though her tone betrayed her unease. "Just... tired, I guess."

Orm narrowed her eyes, clearly skeptical. "Are you sure? You've been acting weird ever since we got here."

Lingling hesitated, debating whether to voice her feelings. Finally, she blurted out, "Do you always have to be so friendly with everyone?"

Orm blinked, taken aback. "What are you talking about?"

"The hugs, the jokes, the way people touch you like they own you!" Lingling snapped, her jealousy getting the better of her. "That guy earlier—he practically had his hands all over you!"

Orm stared at her incredulously, then burst out laughing. "Oh my god, Ling. Are you seriously jealous right now?"

"I'm not jealous," Lingling protested weakly, though her flushed cheeks gave her away. "I just... don't like sharing you."

Orm softened, stepping closer to wrap her arms around Lingling's waist. "There's nothing to worry about, okay? You're the only one I care about. Everyone else is just work."

"But you hug everyone!" Lingling argued, frustration creeping into her voice. "You don't realize how social you are, do you? People see that and think they can get away with anything."

Orm tilted her head thoughtfully, considering Lingling's perspective. "I guess I've always been like this—open, friendly. It's how I connect with people. But trust me, Ling, none of those hugs mean anything. Not compared to what I feel for you."

Lingling sighed, relaxing slightly. "Fine. But can we leave soon? Watching you pose in front of cameras is making me anxious."

Orm smirked, pressing a quick kiss to Lingling's lips. "Jealousy suits you, Ling."

On the drive home, Lingling brought up a topic that had been weighing on her mind. "If we ever get married someday... would you stop working in the entertainment industry?"

Orm glanced at her, surprised by the question. "Why would I stop? This is what I love doing."

"But it's so public," Lingling argued. "People will always be looking at you, judging you, maybe even trying to take advantage of you. Wouldn't it be easier to step away once we're married?"

Orm frowned, "Are you asking me to give up my career for you?"

"No!" Lingling said quickly, realizing how it sounded. "I just... want to protect you. From all the chaos and scrutiny."

Orm shook her head, her tone firm but gentle. "I appreciate that, Ling. But my career is part of who I am. I can't just walk away from it—not even for you."

Lingling fell silent, unsure how to respond. She understood where Orm was coming from, but the thought of seeing her in the spotlight, surrounded by admirers, still made her uneasy.

Orm reached over, placing a reassuring hand on Lingling's knee. "Let's focus on us first, okay? We'll figure everything else out along the way."

Lingling nodded reluctantly, offering a small smile. "Okay
