Alex's POV
I still couldn't believe what I was seeing; there at my feet, was the bloody body of my father. How the hell that happened? I have no idea. We had just been talking and had just finished eating diner when we got up and stared heading through the living room when a bullet got shot right at my dad's head. Splashing with blood the white carpet. I looked around but didn't see anyone. And as I was about to reach for the phone another bullet was shot through the same whole the first one had gone through but I dodged it and when I got closer I saw that it was a dart that had a note in it that said:
Dear Missy,
hope you like your little surprise princess because you are next.
Love , Anonymous.I looked around but still didn't see criminal that had just taken my dad's life. I called the cops which came instantly and questioned me on the past events that followed with the killing. The thing is... I actually knew why they had killed him. But I didn't know who. My dad WAS one of the world's biggest drug dealers so that meant he had a lot of enemies yet none of them had the guts to kill him until now, which made me think that maybe the killer was from a different gang. I mainly avoided most of the questions the cops asked me like if he had any violent past with someone or stuff like that so I just said I didn't know which was actually lying but that's how this business works. If you open your mouth and tell on someone they are not just going to arrest the person but you will also get questioned and if you make it out of questioning you might as well get killed at least that's was what my dad told me. Now I was supposed to run this business although I never wanted to get involved in the first place I basically got forced into it by my dad.
I never knew my mother my dad always said they belonged to different teams and that they couldn't be together so as soon as I was born she left me cause her job was to risky for kids. Therefor I was raised by my dad ,which I don't know how my mom thought that this was a better environment for a child, but then again she might have not known who my dad really was but anyways, I was raised in the riches of his mansion and with the respect of his employees we were happy until I figured out what my dad's job was then everything went downhill from there on. Everything was like that till I reached the age of 15 that's when I stared to care about my dad and our relationship kept on growing till today. Today was the day that a stupid ass bastard decided to take my father's life and leave like nothing had happened.
