**LONG CHAPTER**

"That was probably the best shower ever," Adam says, wrapping a towel around his waist. "You know you don't have to say stuff like that anymore," I chuckled, "Because you're basically an open book towards me." He shrugged, "Oh well." I quickly dried my hair and put on some makeup. I put on a red bikini and white high waisted shorts. My hair is naturally wavy so it looked pretty decent on its own. To match the bikini I put on some red lipstick. Adam, on the other hand, just had on a pair of basketball shorts and a white t-shirt. His hair looked perfect as always, and he hadn't even done that much to it. He didn't even have to try.

"You're so hot." Adam chuckled, "Thank you, but you're looking pretty good, too." Adam walked over and put his hands on my hips, slowly leading me into the wall. "We still have to go to the store," I say as he starts kissing my neck. "Mhm.. The store can wait." I rested my hand on the back of his head and let him continue. "Adam-" I moaned as he found my sweet spot. "We.. need to go." "You're not the only one who can tease like this," he whispered. I leaned my head against the wall, not wanting him to stop. "I know how to drive you crazy, Haley." He really did. "Adam please.." Another moan escaped my lips as he made his way lower. I had to stop him before we went too far, and that meant turning the tables. I lifted his head from my chest and pressed my lips against his. While we kissed, I ran my hand down to his basketball shorts and felt around. "Haley-" Now I had him moaning for me. I pulled away and looked at him. Desperation was in his eyes. I felt bad from depriving him right now, but we had other things to attend to than our desires. "We need to go, Adam." He had no choice but to agree. "I promise that we will continue this later. You're not the only one who wants this." He sighed, "I know. Let's just go."

Once we went and got the stuff from the store, we hurried back to Jamie's to help set up. When we got back, they were already done setting up. Music sounded from the backyard, and Adam and I went outside. "Haley!!" A familiar voice squealed. I turned to see it was Emily running up to hug me. "What are you doing here?" She asks. "I wanted to surprise you," I smiled. "Well you did! Come on let's go dance!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me toward everyone else dancing. Raynee and Aiden were all over each other, and Jamie and Levi were dancing with Jamison. It was so cute seeing them as a family. Emily and I danced like idiots, with me every once in a while spinning her or dipping her. I smiled and looked over at Adam who was watching from one of the patio chairs beside the make shift snack bar.

The song ended and everyone went their own ways. Em and Jamison went off and played on the playground Levi had put in months ago. They were so cute. Never failed to bring a smile to my face. I went over to Adam and sat on his lap. "Hey baby," he says, nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck and kissing my cheek. "Why didn't you come out and dance?" I asked. "I gotta get a few drinks in before I'm a good dancer," Adam joked. "Oh please, ex-stripper." I could tell he was smiling. "I'm getting old. I can't move like that anymore." "Not what it seemed like last night." Before Adam could reply, Jamie and Levi walked up and sat beside us. "What are we talking about over here?" Levi asks. "Nothing important," I replied. "Well you guys seem to be getting along well," Jamie says, "It's good to see you guys happy." "Thanks, Jamie. We're glad to see you all having good lives here," Adam smiled. "So are there gonna be any new additions to the family any time soon?" I ask. Levi looked at Jamie, then back at me. "I don't know. We're thinking about it. Jamison sure is a handful, though." "Kids always are, but they say being a parent is the best job you can have." Jamie nodded, "It is. I've learned more from that 2 year old than I ever did in school. He's always surprising me with something." I smiled, "That's sweet."

Adam's P.O.V
A few minutes later Haley and Jamie ran off to go play with the kids. Levi and I got into casual small talk. Aiden was busy picking out music and Raynee was in the pool. "Don't look now, model getting out of the pool," Levi abruptly says. Before I knew it Raynee was sitting in front of us, dripping wet and eyeing me. "I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Raynee," she says.
"Adam, nice to meet you," I replied. "Either of you got a light?" Raynee asked, pulling a cigarette out of her purse. Of course I did. I don't smoke often, but every once in a while I have one. "Here," I say, digging it out of my pocket and handing it to her. "Light it for me," she says, leaning over my chair with the cigarette between her teeth. Her boobs were literally inches from my face. This girl was definitely trying something. I quickly struck the lighter and lit the cigarette. "Thank you," she says, standing back up and blowing out the smoke. Then, she walked away.

I turned to Levi with a confused look on my face. "What just happened?" "Thats what Raynee does. She's a natural charmer. That's why Jamie doesn't like her all that much. She tried acting like that around me, Jamie got mad and told her off." "Does Aiden know?" I asked. "I've tried telling him. He's naive, makes up excuses for her. Can't say I blame him though, you don't see many girls like that around here." "And he's gonna marry her.. Wow." I shook my head. "You'd think if there were people telling you bad things about her, he'd consider it and not move so fast." Levi nodded, "I know. But Aiden's the kinda guy that loves with reckless abandon and it ends up effecting him in the long run." "Yeah.."

For the rest of the party, Raynee was eyeing me. I didn't know how to react. It was definitely making me uncomfortable, though. At the end of the night, everyone went home and the rest of us cleaned up. After Jamie came back from putting down Jamison, she told Haley and I to go on to bed, that her and Levi could get the rest.

I followed Haley up the stairs and into our room. I could tell just by the way she was acting that she was tired. I took off my shirt and shorts and got in bed. A few minutes later, Haley was beside me. "Baby I'm sorry.. I'm just not up to doing anything tonight," she says. "I'll make it up to you."

Haley's P.O.V
"I'll make it up to you." Adam sighed and turned on his side, "It's fine. I'm tired, too." That's all that was said before we both fell asleep.

I woke up the next day with Adam all over me. Half of his body was on mine. "Adam wake up," I chuckled. "Mhm, what?" He asks. "Oh sorry." He slowly got off me and laid on his stomach. "Jamie's probably making breakfast soon. I'm gonna go help her." "No, stay here a little longer." He draped his arm across my stomach and pulled me into his chest. He looked down at me with his sleepy eyes and smiled. "Please.." "You know I can't say no to that smile." I reached up and kissed him deeply. "I don't know what's so special about it," he says. "That it's yours."

A few minutes later we both got up and headed down to the kitchen. As expected, Jamie was over at the stove making some food. "You're just turning into the perfect house wife, aren't you?" I chuckled. "Yeah, I know." "You want some help? I know a little about cooking." "Nah I'm good," Jamie replied. Then Levi walked into the kitchen with Jamison. "Smells good, baby," he says, coming up behind Jamie and kissing her cheek. I saw her smile as she thanked him. They were so cute together. Life goals.

Adam's P.O.V

After breakfast, Haley and Jamie left to go shopping, leaving me, Levi, and Jamison back at the house. A few minutes later, Aiden and Raynee walk through the front door, her eyes already locked on mine. I looked away awkwardly and greeted them. "Good to see you again. I didn't really get to speak to you a lot last night," Aiden says. I nodded, "That's okay. It's good to see you, too. Uh, Levi I'm going to go out back and check that thing you told me about." I looked at Levi and saw he got the hint. I didn't feel comfortable being around Raynee, so I had to get away.

I let out a deep breath and leaned back against the side of the house. My mind went to Haley, she seemed to be the only thing I thought about lately. No matter how much time we were together, I still wanted more. I broke out of my thoughts as I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned to see it was Raynee, looking at me with a smirk on her face.

Before I could do anything, make some excuse to get away, she had me pressed against the wall. "Uh-" She put her finger up to my lips and silenced me. "I've noticed how you can't keep your eyes off of me," she says seductively. "It's kinda the other way around," I say, looking away from her. "You're not very easy to persuade. Lucky for you, I like challenges." Her body pressed against mine, and she started running her hand down to the zipper of my jeans. I was completely speechless, nothing like this has ever happened to me before." Raynee started to feel around and I pushed her away. "Stop! I don't want this." She seemed shocked. "You might like to sleep around but I don't. Stay away from me." I let out a deep breath and walked back inside.

Haley's P.O.V
Just as we got to the store, Jamie realized she forgot her wallet so we went back to get it. "Where's Adam?" I asked Levi, noticing he was no where to be found. "Out back." I thanked him and stepped outside. From the corner of my eye I saw something. I turned to see Raynee pinning Adam against the side of the house, running her hand down him. I felt the tears come to my eyes, and I rushed back inside. "Come on, Jamie, let's go."
