Kian's POV

"Morning." I said walking downstairs
"Hey you left me alone." I said to Makayla and pouted
"You were snoring so I got up." She defended I chuckled
"Morning Ashley." I said as she walked down

"Morning guys." She smiled
"How are things with Sam?" Jc asked Makayla glared at him
"What? I just want to know." Jc said
"No it's ok, he was a sweetheart." Ashley smiled
"Good because if he hurts you he'll pay." Makayla said

"Let's go to Starbucks." Makayla said
"Babe it's eight in the morning." I said to her
"And?" She asked
"Yea let's go I want a pumpkin spice latte." Ashley said
"I'm driving!" Jc yelled I chuckled and rolled my eyes

"Then let's go." I said picking up Makayla
"Kian! Put me down!" She yelled hitting my chest softly
"You're weak babe." I winked at her
"Shut up Lawley." She pouted
"Ok Mrs. Lawley." I said pecking her lips

She bit her lip and looked away
I chuckled and walked over to the car and put her in
"Let's go!" Jc yelled driving off

***At Starbucks***

"Ok so two pumpkin spice latees? And two strawberry cream frapuchinos?" The lady asked to confirm
"Yes." Jc said
"Alright that'll be 9.99." The lady said I payed and we walked over to a booth and sat down

"You should've let us pay." Makayla said
"It's just ten bucks babe." I said looking at her. She went pale all of the sudden
"Babe you ok?" I asked worriedly she wasn't looking at me. I turned around to look where she was looking and some guy was there

"Do you know him?" I asked her
"N-no." She said shaking her head slowly and looked away from the guy
"What's up with her?" I mouthed to Jc he shrugged
"Here are your orders anything else?" A lady asked

"No we're good, thank you." Ashley said the lady nodded and walked away from us. The whole time we were at Starbucks Makayla barely talked and when she did it came out like a whisper. The guy kept looking at our table and I'm starting to wonder who he is and why he keeps staring at Makayla

"I'm gonna go to the restroom and then we'll leave yea?" I said to Makayla she looked up at me and nodded. I pecked her lips before getting up and walking to the restroom. I did my business and walked over to a sink. Just then the guy from earlier walked in and smirked

Alright what's going on?
Shrugging it off I dried my hands
"Are you Mac's boyfriend?" The guy asked
"How do you know her name?" I asked him he chuckled
"I know more about her than you ever will." He said

"Who are you?" I asked getting annoyed. Who does he think he is?
"It doesn't matter, just tell Makayla that Jake is coming for her." He said before pushing past me and walking out if the restroom. Jake? Who is that?
"Hey wa-I looked around and the guy just disappeared

"What the fuck?" I mumbled running my hand through my hair
Do I tell Makayla? If you do she'll worry. Yes but I need answers. It could hurt her. But who is he?. Shaking my head I walk back to the booth
"Ready?" Makayla asked I gave her a fake smile and nodded

She gave me a look but I just rolled my eyes and walked out
"Kian!" Jc said running after me
"What?" I asked
"What's wrong?" He asked
"Do you know anybody named Jake?" I asked him
"Umm no why?" He asked shaking his head

"No reason let's just go home yea?" I said he nodded. We all got in the car and Jc drove back home. I couldn't stop thinking about that guy. How does he know Makayla? And who's Jake and why is he after her?

Makayla's POV

Kian has been very distant from me since he came back from the restroom back in Starbucks. If your wondering why I was all quiet well because the guy I saw was Jake's bestfriend his name is Ashton. He would always yell at me when ever he was drunk or even hit me. I guess their exactly alike
