The week passed and it was the day of tryouts. Hunter was super excited but nervous at the same time.
Hunter and her mum went to go pick up Brea. On the drive to the field where tryouts were they stopped to take pictures. Finally at last they had reached the field. The field was in a small town just outside of Winnipeg called oak bluff, Manitoba.
Both girls were stoked to be there.
Tryouts finally began.
"Brea was up first.
She did pretty good. A few more girls went and then lastly it was my turn! When it came to the batting cage i missed 6 out of the 20 balls that were pitched. Then it was base running, it wasn't my strongest but i did well. Lastly the director made me do throwing and catching the ball, it was a piece of cake!"
After tryouts were done Hunters mum came to pick the girls up, they dropped brea off and headed home.
The next day Hunter got a phone call from the softball director saying they wanted Hunter on a MLL (major league level) Hunter was super excited! She ran downstairs to tell her parents that they wanted her in the AAA league!
Her parents were very excited!
Later that night hunter got a call saying that she'd need to be at the community centre for 9:00 a.m tomorrow.
