Imagine this, You wake up on Saturday. So there's no school, no homework dad are out of town and you're left with your three younger siblings. But the strange this is, an alarm wakes you up. You never have an alarm for the weekend so you check your phone to see what the heck is going on. The blinding light of your smartphone shines straight into your virgin eyeballs and you can't believe what the hell you just read. "This can't be happening this can't be happening!" You say to yourself over and over again. But hell yeah sister this is happening.
"This can't be real, I must be dreaming or something!" I say. I rub my eyes and read it again on the verge of tears. "Warning the Earths sun is expanding in size and is planned to burn all living organisms in 3 weeks." Fuck no, this must be some sick joke Lilly or Cherry is playing on me. Whatever I'm not falling for that shit. I guess I'll make breakfast for my loving family. I walk out of my room and into the hallway. I don't hear Miles or the twins so they must be sleeping. "Bandit! Come here!" I hear from Lilly's room. I open the door and poke my head in "What, is it something about the dumb prank?" I ask. But Lilly is laying on her bed with tears on her face.
"We're all going to die." She says with the most chilling voice, I got goosebumps. I don't think this is a joke anymore. What if the world is really ending? What will happen? Maybe there is a way to fix this? Maybe it's just a misunderstanding. Tears stream down her face and It's terrifying. "Goddamn it Lilly." I cry I run to my sister and hold her as tight as I can
"It's okay we're fine we're fine." I hug her as tight as I can.
"I'll fix this we're fine. It's okay." I sob. I rub her head like a puppy. I'll do anything to add happiness into this moment.
"And how the hell do you plan to do that?" She looks up at me and asks.
"I have no fucking clue but I swear we'll make it. Me you Cherry and Miles and even dad."
"Then let me help you. Maybe we can do something special before we die. Or at least try, you know?" She says as she smiles at me
