"Mum? Mum!" My eyes drooped as the sound of Luke's voice woke me. I heard the faint voices of Luke and Liz and I pulled the quilt around my body,trying to ignore them. "Ava? Sweetie,I need to talk to you.." Liz whispered,opening the door and sitting on the end of the bed. I rolled over to face her. "What's wrong?" "What do you want me to tell Luke? Because he is getting lies from Ashton..." My head spun,I didn't want to think about anything. "Um,could you ask him to come in here please?" She nodded and stroked my forehead,getting up and calling to Luke. Soon, the tall,blonde boy was stood at the doorway,waiting. "Can I come in?" He asked. I nodded and I moved up so he could sit down properly. "What's happened?" He asked. "I don't know really know where to start. But Luke,if I tell you this you need to promise me you won't mention it to anyone,not Cal or Mikey and especially not Ashton. Only your mum knows okay? Please you need to promise." Luke's eyebrows furrowed but he nodded. "Okay,I promise." I sighed,not knowing how to explain. "Me and Ashton are over,I just needed somewhere to stay and your mum offered...but there's more." Luke's eyes were wide and worried,making me more nervous. "I'm pregnant." My words hung in the air. "Your what? As in,like pregnant?" I nodded sadly. "Why are you here and not with Ashton. I'm sorry Ava,I'm a bit confused, I don't get it?" I played with the quilting,not really knowing how to tell someone their best friend is a dick. "Ashton doesn't want the baby,I do. He told me to leave after I refused to get an abortion. But now-" "He did what?!" Luke shouted. "Now,I don't know what to do,I don't have any family around and you've always been like a brother to me. I need your help Luke." I pleaded. Suddenly,his arms wrapped around me,pulling me in to his chest,my head resting calmly on his chest. "I'm so sorry Ava, I had no idea Ashton could even be like that." He whispered. I pulled away from him. "This isn't your fault okay? It's his. And mine really. But what I need from you is your help."

"Ava anything you need you just have to ask. What is it?" He queried. "I need you to go to ours-Ashtons apartment. I left my credit cards in my purse in my top draw of the bedroom cabinets. I need them to access my college fund." Luke shook his head. "You aren't using your college tuition Ava, you've worked so hard!" "But a baby needs things Luke,things that cost money and it's the only big amount of money I have,and I need it." He shook his head again,his blonde hair falling across his irritated face. "I can give you the money,anything you need I will give you the money for Ava. You can't use your college fund,there's still a chance you could go to college,in the future maybe?" Now it was my turn to shake my head. "Luke I can't take your money.." "You can and you will Ava." He interrupted. "But I won't be able to repay you for years,it will cost thousands for baby stuff,never mind nappies and formula! I can't it isn't fair!" "I don't care about the money Ava,I care about you and this baby. You can repay me by telling him who his favourite uncle is!" He grinned saying that last part,making me smile more. "Are you sure Luke?" He nodded. "You are just the best!" I hugged him,smiling. He hugged me back. "Well only the best for my niece or nephew! Hey little one!" He called,whispering to my belly. I giggled,but it made me sad as well. It should be Ashton talking to our baby inside me,not Luke.
