Imagine 1

Tonight your parents decided to have a friend of theirs come over for dinner. You were totally fine with this since you didn't have to clean the house. The only thing you had to do was set the table and finish your homework. By the time their friend came over you already had the table set and ready. You even tidied up the house a little but more since this wasn't just your parents friend. You had a crush on this "friend" ever since your preteen years, when your parents first met him. He was quite a few years younger than your parents making him closer to your age. They had met when they hired him at their store.

"Adam!" They call when he walks through the front door. Your heart stops at the first sight of him. Tall, muscular, blue eyes, beautiful hair and a kind personality. Utter perfection in your opinion.

When he closes the door he catches your eyes and waves hello. "Hey," he says.

"Hey." You smile as turn your head away, already feeling flushed. You hear him start small talk with your parents as they cook dinner. You decide that while they are still cooking you could get some homework done.

You sit down in the living room and set your backpack by your side. You pull out a binder with all of your notes and a textbook. Pre Calculus. Gross.

You just sigh and open the book up to the correct page, remembering that this your last year of high school and it'll be over soon enough. You dive into the math problems, solving them on your own. Then suddenly your parents grab your attention.

"We have to run to the store because we forgot to get something earlier. Adam will be here to keep you company. Call us if you need anything."

"Okay," you respond, not really paying much attention to them. Then something pulls you out if your train of thoughts.

You are alone with Adam.

Your heartbeat quickens as you start imagining the possibilities. You quickly shake your head to clear your mind of the thoughts. You look up from your textbook and watch him sit down in the chair across from you. He pulls out his phone and scrolls through something.

Angelic.

You shake your head once more and try to focus on your homework. It goes smoothly until you run into a problem that you don't understand.

"Ugh," you groan. Your stuck and you can't figure it out.

"Do you need help," Adam asks you.

"Nah I think I got this," you lie.

"That's Pre Cal isn't it? You need help." He stands up and walks over by your side. "I should be able to help you with this since I only took this class 4 years ago," he laughs.

His laugh makes you melt but you try to keep it together. You explain what you don't understand and he shows you what you should do. You try to listen to him but the smoothness of his voice and the heavenly scent of his cologne fog up your mind.

"Do you get it?"

"Uh not really," you say as you look up at him.

Wow. What a sight.

"What did you just say?" He asks you. "Did you just say 'what a sight' to me?" He questions, a smirk forming on his face.

"I-I uh n-no..." You stumble on your words and he just chuckles.

"Okay I'll try to make more sense this time. Now you've got to stop checking me out and pay attention." He laughs.

"Yeah I'll try," you giggle. What is he doing to you. Did you just giggle?!

He explains it once more and you actually understand him this time.

"I've got it now. Thanks Adam."

"My pleasure," he winks at you.

Your face flushes and your heart stops once again. Luckily your parents come home just in time to kill the awkwardness.

"Okay we've got drinks! Let's eat!"

You close your textbook and look up to find Adam holding his hand out. You accept the gesture and take his hand as he helps you stand up. Once your up you mutter a thanks and give him a smile.

This is going to be an interesting night.
