I eventually fell asleep in my bed. I started to dream about the same guy again but was suddenly woken up by a window banging. I quickly jolted up in my bed to see a person just slip out my circular window. I quickly ran to the window to see who it was but saw nobody but the empty street and a few lamps that still worked. It terrified me that someone could have actually been in my room spying on me. I quickly shut and locked the window and went back to my safe haven of a bed. I couldn't sleep though I kept thinking about the window and found myself staring at it as if someone was going to jump in through it. Even though I knew it was locked I couldn't help but feel terrified in my own room. I got up and went to see if Matt was home, it was better than waiting here for the intruder to come in again.

I found Matt playing video games in the lounge with his best friend Anthony. Anthony was like a second brother to me I mean he practically lives in our house for the amount of time he spends here. He was amazingly handsome but to shy for any of the girls to really be interested in him.
"Hey Anthony, hey Matt," I smiled and waved as they turned around to greet me.
"Hey little sis, everything alright?" Matt greeted me from the couch while Anthony just waved.
"Yeah, just couldn't sleep that's all," I shrugged a shoulder as to say everything was fine.
"You missing mom and dad again?" Matt looked sad and who could blame him? It had been 4 months and 23 days  since our parents had died in a car crash. Matt held up better when he heard than I did, I almost fell apart.

He was now constantly watching to see if I was going into depression and almost all the kids in school knew. I was labeled often but I honestly didn't care, they are all dumb retards anyway. I've never really cared about anyone at school anyway besides Cat and Joey of course. After my parents died I had found out that they didn't care about me either. They couldn't get to me though, I mean it's matric once your there all you want to do is get out.
"No Matt I'm fine I just couldn't sleep that's all," I sounded a bit more harsh than I would have liked to but really I'm not a baby anymore.
"Ok well we will be down here a little longer and you should get to bed you have school tomorrow." Matt tried to act like the parent sometimes but he was only 20 and often got it wrong. After my parents died I had a choice, live with Matt or with my aunt and uncle. Of course I had chosen Matt I barely even knew my aunt or uncle and besides it was much nicer living in my Parents house than in a farm on the other side of the world.
"Fine then, goodnight. " I stomped heavily back up the stairs just to make Matt feel guilty but hey better to live in Durban where the weathers always great, than in Kentucky.

When I finally reached my room I was about to turn in for the night when I saw the door had been slightly opened. Funny I distinctly remember closing it. I braced myself put my hand on the knob and slowly opened the door. It was too dark to see and I was getting scared so I decided to turn on the light switch. Once the light was on I looked in the direction of the window and when I saw it was still firmly locked, I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. I was about to climb into bed, when a hand snaked its way around my waist. I was about to scream but then another hand covered my mouth. I started to panic, and flung my legs and arms at the intruder. He pulled me into the bed with him and I froze.

There was nothing I could do I started praying silently hoping this guy would let me go. Or that Matt would miraculously walk in through the door. Then when he stopped moving and I thought we were going to just lie here he whispered gently into my ear,

"Hello, Ro miss me?"
