Chapter 7

Audrey's POV.

I got to Science class on time which surprised me and sat in a empty seat with no one beside me. There wasn't a teacher in here so i took out a book and started to read. Just as i was at the part where the main character finds out her boyfriend cheated on her i see someone sit next to me.

Yes i love teen drama but the last thing i would want is that in my life. I turn and see a girl who looked very familiar. Where have i seen her before? I say hi politely and she just waves with no emotion on her face so i just go back to my book.

"Good morning Class" a woman, I'm guessing the teacher walked in. "My name is Mrs. Harrison" after that i zoned out drawn into the best part of my book.

I hear her saying names and figured she was doing attendance. I put my book on my desk and my elbow pushed my pencil to the ground.

I could already see people around me staring. I ignore the stares and lean to get it. I couldn't help but notice the socks i randomly grabbed this morning. One was Yellow and the other was white. I really need to grow out of this habit. "Dylan Rider" the teacher says and I gasp. I stopped what i was doing and felt all the blood drain away from my face, just sitting there probably looking like a retard. I notice the girl next to me staring with a vacant look on her face.

"Are you okay?" She says and I finally figured out who the girl was. Lucia, my ex best friend. "Yeah, thanks for asking" I turn my attention back at the teacher who apparently finished taking attendance. I walk to her desk and she looks up from her computer screen.

"Hi, Mrs. Harrison" i say as kindly as possible and proud that i had remembered her name. "Hello Sweetie, may i help you?" she asked and i was beginning to like this teacher. "Well i didn't hear you call my name for attendance and since I'm new here maybe that's why" i say and she stares at me with a radiant look on her face.

she asks for my name and writes it down on the chart. "Ill have it printed out tomorrow so i wont have to keep reading your name off of this" she says waving the paper in front of me. I thank her and go sit down.

I was still shocked that i heard Dylan's name but i didn't see him. All i saw were some people i new from 8th grade and some new ones. I also saw one of Ariana's friend looking slutty and leaning all over a boy.

I roll my eyes seeing why they were friends and listen to the teachers lecture on the class rules. After she was done that she announced a project that i was really not looking forward to. I hate science and i wish Jessica and Jason were here to help me. I opened my book again and read some more. "Actually that's a great idea" i heard Mrs. Harrison say and i look up. She was smiling at The boy i saw earlier.

I notice everyone is cheering and talking about the project but i didn't know what was going on. "She said we could have partners" Says Lucia noticing my confusion. "Oh thanks" i say back to her. "But I think it would be best if I picked them" she says and I hear people murmuring in the back. "Shes a bitch" i hear someone say and i widened my eyes at the remark.

"Get used to it" Lucia says and i laughed. As she started to call partners Lucia and I already started a conversation. She got really nice but then again she wasn't mean before, she was just popular. "So are you still friends with Ariana" i ask then immediately regretting it. her face turned cold then returned to her normal one and answered. "Looking like this? She was too embarrassed to stay friends with me after i changed my look so she just dumped me and the rest of her minions did the same" I looked at her with a sorry expression plastered across my face and she looked down.

Her hair did change from the "Alice in Wonderland hair" (i called it) to a short black emo styled hair with pink and blue streaks. Her once Tan skin had turned pale and her eye makeup was really dark that i couldn't even see her hazel eyes.
