Your favorite sidequest.
Well, my favorite sidequest is arguably also the saddest sidequest.
That should be pretty unsurprising from someone who is nicknamed as the "King of Feels."
In my opinion, Majora's Mask has the best sidequests in the whole series.
From the Alien Ivasion to the Puppy Race, the game is very creative and imaginative in that field.
But then we have the big one. The emotional one. The one that seems like it could actually happen.
The Anju and Kafei sidequest.
This quest is pure genius. Anju is supposed to be married to her fiancé Kafei on the third day.
But then, Kafei is turned into a child by Skull Kid. Kafei doesn't want to show himself to Anju, so you obviously have help him build up the courage to reunite.
Once you do, YOU REALIZE THAT THE WORLD IS GOING TO END ON THE THIRD DAY, WHICH MEANS NO WEDDING, JUST DEATH.
I don't want to spoil too much, but if you complete it, the two meet up for the last hour of their lives.
Then Anju tells you:
"We shall greet the morning...together."
AND THAT'S WHEN I STARTED CRYING.
