Diagon Alley

The next morning my brother and I departed for Diagon Alley through the Floo. As we arrived in the Leaky Cauldron, witches and wizards were already making their way to their desired locations.

We made our way outside to the place I had always desired seeing.

Diagon Alley.

"First I need a cauldron," I said.

"Course" said Sean, my brother. "What kind would you like? I can get you one while you try on your robes."

"Are you kidding? I can get my own things thank you very much." I said, annoyed that he thought I was incapable of doing such a simple task. Such a classic Gryffindor, trying to protect me.

I can protect myself. I walked straight up to Potage's Cauldron Shop and chose a nice pewter one and paid for it without any help from the ghastly Gryffindor. As I made my way outside he was still standing there looking annoyed that I had left him.

"I can't believe you did that!" says Sean.

"I can. I guess you don't know me very well. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to Madam Malkin's" I say as I storm off.

He just stands there looking bewildered. As I walk in to Madam Malkin's, I see a boy. He's about the same age as me. Handsome with white-blonde hair slicked back. I walk up to the counter, "I'd like some school robes," I say to Madam Malkin.

"One second dear, I'm helping Mr. Malfoy, but I will be with y-" says Madam Malkin but I cut her off.

"I have better things to do then wait for you. Tell me where the robes are and I'll get them myself," I tell her sharply.

She stares at me in utter disbelief. "On your left," she says.

As I walk over to where she points I see the boy smirk and I grin back. I choose three black robes, reach into my bag and pull out some galleons to pay. I then walk out and see that my brother had left. Ha! He realized how stupid he was being and went home. After I get some Florean Fortescue's ice cream, I head to the owl emporium and choose a snowy white owl. I named her Flurry. I walked to Ollivander's last.

"Welcome to Ollivanders!" says an old man behind a counter. I walk in admiring the many wands scattered across the small room.

"Here, try this one," he says hanging me a short black wand. I wave it and knock a few shelves down.

"Oh dear, definitely not," he says and I hand it back.

"How about this?" he says handing me another. I wave it and silver sparks shoot out.

"That's the one. Unicorn hair and sparrow feather." I give him my galleons and leave. I then make my way back to the Leaky Cauldron.
