Josh POV
I pull up in the driveway around 5:50pm to pick Colleen up. She is sitting outside in the sunshine waiting for me to come home all dressed and ready to go. I walk up to her as she watches me. She looks amazing in a long tight turquoise dress. Her hair is braided exactly how I love it. "Baby you look amazing...but you seem a bit anxious" I say leaning down to kiss her. "I am hungry" she says smiling. "Let me change and I will be right out" I say running past her going in to change. I change into a dark blue button up and black pants. I walk out the door and lock the house as Colleen grabs my butt. "Hey, hey did you want to go to dinner or no?" I say jokingly. "You look so handsome. Maybe we should do delivery" she says as she grabs my hand and we walk to the car. I walk her over to her side and open her door but before she climbs in she leans against me and kisses me full force. I lean her against the car as my hands rest on her thighs as I kiss her back. She finally pulls back smiling. "Wow" I say as she slips underneath me and into the passenger seat. I smile as I make my way around to the drivers side and grab her hand as I sit beside her.
We get to the restaurant and enjoy each others company all night. It was just what we needed. I have my arm wrapped around her as we walk back to the car. She is hugging me tight. We climb into the car and start driving home. "Josh can we go by the mall?" she asks. "Sure babe" I say. We stop by the biggest mall near our house and we walk in together. I am kissing her neck as we wander around. "What are we here for babe?" I ask just wanting to get her home. "I need to get a card" she says as she wanders away from me as I walk into the shoe store. I meet her in the hallway after she is done and we walk back to the car. We make our way home and she leaves to go to the washroom. I walk back to our bedroom taking my clothes off and putting on some pj pants. Finally I hear her come out of the bathroom and she starts changing as well into a onesie. I wait for her so we can snuggle on the couch. She does up her zipper and walks out with me carrying her on my back. "How long do you think you can walk around with me on your back?" she asks kissing my neck. "Not long with you doing that" I smile. " Is it distracting?" she whispers as her hands run down my chest. I drop her to the floor and turn to catch her before she runs away as she squeals laughing. I pull her back by her left arm and she drops to the floor. "Oh my god Colleen. I am sorry" I say dropping to the floor to her as she cries in pain. "Did it wreck your bad shoulder? I grabbed your good arm didn't I ?" I ask crying now thinking of what I may have done by goofing off.She just laid there crying. "Oh baby" I say hugging her as she lays on the floor. "Josh my shoulder just feels stretched baby" she says. "I am so sorry honey" I say hugging her as she sits up. She wipes my tears. She takes a deep breath and leans into my chest. "Lets go to bed and watch TV " she says. "Ok sweetheart" I say.
We walk back to bed and I crawl in. She walks over to the closet and comes back to me. She climbs beside me and smiles. "Did you stop crying babe?" She asks. "As long as you are ok" I say grabbing her hand. "I think you may cry again" she says as she passes me a card.
