AN: Hey! For those who don't know (and are probably cursing at me for updating too late), I was in a vacation (in Europe, to be exact)! I announced it on my message board, but idk how many people read it. Anyways, now that I'm back, you better expect frequent updates! (hopefully) lol. I would love to hear from you guys! Tell me how your vacation went! Btw, I searched and searched for a celebrity (like they do in the fanfics) but found none. *wails in agony* Anyways, on with the chapter....
As the days grew past, so did my anticipation of finally giving back to Mrs Montgomery for all the help she gave me.
It was a fine sunday morning, with the clouds overhead, as I walked down the familiar driveway of her house, with Pavo and a man following behind me. Pavo, with her auburn, long hair, which cascaded down her back, literally jumped when a cat screeched from the bushes. Apparently, she hated those furry creatures. I casted a quick glance at the man walking behind me, and upon noticing his bright green eyes shining with happiness, I secretly smiled.
I couldn't help but let my heart burst with excitement, because I knew that just in a few moments, Mrs Ramsay would be so happy — hopefully, and seeing her like that would make me happy. I think for all these years, she was kind of a motherly figure to me.
I knocked on the door, and took a step back. Pavo stood besides me, and gave me a quick reassuring smile.
"Dana?" Mrs Ramsay exclaimed in surpprise, as she opened the door. "Oh, it's so nice to see — oh, you've got a friend?" She pulled me into a quick hug, and I nodded my head.
"Mrs Ramsay, this is Pavo-"
Pavo greeted her,
"And this," I took a step sideways, just as Mrs Ramsay's eyes widened in shock, "is your husband."
Clad in a camouflage army suit, with combat boots — straight driven here in the company's car as soon as the plane landed on the airport, stood Christian Ramsay, Blaise and Robin's father, Mrs Ramsay's husband.
"Chris?" She quietly said, not believing her eyes as they burned with tears. Her hands covered her mouth, and then in the next second, she was scooped into her husband's strong arms. Looking at the way they gripped each other, I nearly cried, because there was so much love in the air, that you could literally grip it.
I wiped a stray tear that managed to leak out of my eye, and leaned onto Pavo, who was recording the moment, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Mrs Ramsay tearful eyes peered at me from over her husband's shoulder. "It was the least I could do..... for all you've done for me." I truthfully said, and it was true. All those years, being alone and having noone to talk to — I was lonely. All I ever considered a friend, was my television and my books. Mrs Ramsay, was more than just my tutor. Se listened to me, asked me what was wrong when I was sad, and basically treated me as if I wasn't just her student, but infact someone she cared for.
And that—that, was what made me the person who I am today.
