The welcome back meal was different this time round. The first years had been sorted, and we clapped when Slytherin recruited another one, but there was no great stories to tell from the summer. Amycus and Severus spoke amongst themselves, as always. Alecto was looking at the table, clearly missing Fenrir. Lucius was looking at me, being looked at by Luce. No one spoke. Not once.

After the meal, Dumbledore went onto warn us, there had been some killings. A bunch of rouge wizards. I was so caught up in my own thoughts that I never even noticed that people were leaving. I just sat there, staring at my glass of water, wishing I was ten years old. Where I was everything to my parents, both of them. When Sirius and I were the best of friends, where I didn't have a care in the world.

"Bella?" "Bella?" I dragged my head upwards. Alecto, Luce and Lucius were standing next to me. Severus and Amycus were standing at the doorway.

"Hmm?" I whispered.

"Are you coming?" Alecto asked.

I looked around me. I was the only one still sitting. Even the Professors were leaving.

"Yeah, daydreaming." I explained. I stormed past them, making my way to the Common Room on my own.

I sat in front of the fire, waiting on the others. They were only moments behind me. They all sat with me, but no one sat next to me. They casted me worried looks every few minutes, all except Luce. If she looked at me at all, it was daggers. Cold blooded daggers, the kind I usually gave.

"How was your holidays, Luce?" I asked.

Everyone stared at me in shock, it was the first I had spoken since the Great Hall.

"Lovely. We went to Venice, to visit my Grandparents. How was yours?" She replied in her friendliest voice, the one she used when she was only pretending to be your friend.

"Fine, just stayed at home this year." Every year we went somewhere extravagant, and I had no problem in bragging about it.

"I didn't see you on the train today, I thought maybe you had missed it." She teased.

"I was with my sisters." I replied, smirking.

I could see her eyes narrow as she leaned back, ending the conversation. The way she kept staring at Lucius, you'd think... It hit me. The toilet. Me and Lucius.

I smiled darkly to myself. She was baiting me. Our compartment was in perfect view of the toilets. She would have seen me leave, followed by Lucius. And now she was playing games, and I never lost.

Lying in bed that night, I thought of all the witches and wizard that had been killed. We hadn't been told much, only that those who had done it, hadn't been caught. They must be clever.

I was the first one up, and was down in the Great Hall before anyone else. There was food just at my seat. I helped myself to it before I got up to leave again. It was far too early for class, it was barely six in the morning.

I went for a walk around the grounds and I saw them. Two young children sitting at the edge of the forest. I could tell straight away that they weren't students, they were too young. One was a boy, the other a girl. Identical twins.

"Miss Black?" The young girl called when I was within earshot.

I stopped walking, she knew me.

"We have what you are looking for." The boy called.

"Who are you? What am I looking for?" I called back.

They stood up and ran towards me, they ran in unison, stopping at the same time. They stared up at me. I stepped back, startled. I wasn't just looking down at twins. The girl, she had crazy black hair, you could even call it a mane. Her eyes, such a dark shade, a shade no one else had. Except me. When I was her age. And the boy was just like Sirius, but only there was something different about his eyes, they were darker.

"You know who we are." The girl spoke.

"You know what you want." The boy echoed.

"They haven't been caught because they're good. They are hunting down the filth of the world." They whispered together.

I made sure no one was watching, listening before I turned back around. "Who's the-" I stopped when I realised they had gone.

"Bella? Are we really going through this again?" Alecto laughed.

I laughed with her. Us three girls were in the great hall, wasting our free period.

"How are things between you and Lucius?" Alecto asked Luce.

"You've barely spoken to him." I added, a slight smile on my face.

"There hasn't been much to say." She whispered rather darkly.

"He hasn't cheated as he?" Alecto gasped.

"Of course he hasn't, you have to actually be dating to cheat. They just went on a few dates." I smirked.

"He said that?" Luce whispered, all darkness gone as she stared at me.

Alecto looked between us, curious.

"He sure did. Right after, and before, we kissed." I taunted.

Alecto and Luce both hissed, one in shock, the other hatred.

Alecto stared at the ceiling, processing everything while Luce and I stared each other down.

"Why hello ladies." Lucius drawled as he, along with everyone else, came for lunch.

"We were discussing relationships." I snickered.

"Oh, really?" He asked, not as confident as usual.

"What do you class as dating, Lucius?" Luce whispered, moving her stare to him, her eyes beginning to water.

"When you're either asked to be the girl or boyfriend." He replied.

"Were we dating?" She asked.

He glanced at me. "No.."

Luce stood up, tears spilling over. "So you string me on, make me fall for you but the moment Rodolphus is out the picture, you're back into her arms!" She shouted, gaining stares from others. "So much for friends." She snarled before storming out.
