"Stop trying." Camila whined to Dinah as she peeled her green Starbucks apron off her slim body. "I'm just saying I think there's something off about him." Dinah said as she was giving change back to her customer. Camila didn't want to admit it but she knew there was something going on with Austin. He always told her he was at practice but his friends were always out so she knew things weren't what they seemed. Camila's stomach turned at the thought of Austin being with someone else. She couldn't keep running though, and she knew it.
"I'll pick you up at 8?" Dinah smiled.
"Uhh sure.. Where to?" The brunette said hesitantly.
"A party!"
"Dinah..."
"Mila, you need to get your mind off this if you're not even planning on doing something about it, okay?" Dinah said concerned
"I guess you're right. I deserve better."
"So you're admitting it?" Ally said confused.
"Yeah, I am. I deserve better. Matter of fact i'm going to end things before we go." Camila said proudly but with a little bit of nervousness.
"Wow. You're eager. You do deserve better, Mila. Please don't settle anymore for scumbags like him."
"I'll try." She said with a feint smile.
She really needed to stop giving her heart to those who broke it.
Camila started heading for the door when she heard Dinah yell from behind the counter "8 okay?!" The middle aged man she was ringing up tapped his foot
impatiently
waiting for her to finish her conversation. "Yes. 8. I'll be ready." Camila pushed the door and headed to her dorm to get ready for a crazy night.

Camila stepped out of the shower and grabbed the towel off her counter and
looked at what she could see of herself in the foggy mirror in front of her. She dried herself off and started getting ready. When she was done she took one last quick glance in the mirror. She was wearing a black polkadotted halter top and a black mini skirt. Her beautiful brunette locks fell perfectly just above her waistline which complimented her chocolate orbs so well. Her full lips were a light shade of raspberry. Her lips were... Perfect. She was perfect. And she didn't know it. She sighed as she looked at her phone anxiously. Almost as if she was waiting for something, for someone. She took a deep breathe and picked up her phone, eyeing Austin's contact. Their last text was Tuesday, and today was Friday. She dialed him and after 4 rings he answered.
"Hello?" Austin slurred
"Austin?" Camila said concerned
"Hello?" Austin was definitely drunk.
"Yeah this isn't happening anymore. This... Us? If you really cared about me you wouldn't be getting drunk around 4pm everyday with God knows who."
Camila spat through the phone
"Hold on one sec" he said
"What?" Camila said annoyed
"I'm gonna cum oh my god" a girl on the other end yelled
Camila's blood was boiling. "Have a nice life you disgusting pig! Don't you ever dare to try to contact me again. You're a piece of shit."
Austin hung up before she could.
She laughed when she saw her phone go back to her home screen which was a picture of her and Austin kissing underneath the mistletoe. She pegged her phone at her wall and screamed.
Tears started to form into Camila's eyes and within seconds that brokenness turned cold. Her face was stern and it was almost as she looked determined to move on and to get out of this mess she set herself into. She deserved better than that and she was going to start living like she did.
