Babysitting(Young Justice Short Story)

Baby Kaldur

"Kaldur?" Roy called, looking up and down for the little 8 year old boy. He couldn't find him anywhere. Leave it up to Kaldur to hide, and you'll never find him.

Roy then face palmed. He had forgot to check the one single place in the entire mountain. The bathroom.

Roy raced into the bathroom, and breathed out a sigh of relief. Kaldur was sitting in the giant bathtub Aqualad had installed just for him. Kaldur even had a few fish swimming with him.

"Kaldur, there you are." Roy sighed. "Now come on, we need to go back to the living room."

"No." Kaldur crossed his arms.

"No?" Roy raised an eyebrow. He'd gotten that answer a lot today. It was as if today was 'Let's-Tick-Off-Roy' Day.

"No." Kaldur repeated.

Roy just sighed. "Kaldur please."

"No."

Man, was this kid ever stubborn.

"Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"No."

"Pretty please with a fish on top of an ice cream?"

"Ice cream?" Kaldur questioned. Roy just grinned.

"Yes. And you can have some if you come out. And Aquaman and Batman will be here soon. You don't want to be in the tub when they do come back."

"Okay." Kaldur agreed, stepping out of the tub. He was wearing a water-proof suit so there was no need for him to change, all Roy had to do was use a towel and wipe the water off of the suit. Kaldur slipped a shirt and pants on top of the suit, and Roy led Kaldur back to the living room.
